Very good
This product is very good and reliable. Iโve used it several times and the size is just perfect. It does well with a sausage stuffer and does not fall apart.

Check your stuffer tube OD before buying 21mm or smaller collagen casings!
My 17mm casings were overall good. Majority of them were very good. I purchased 11 pkgs (22 sticks) of the 17mm, and some of the pkgs seemed to be older product, which is more brittle and they have more blowouts than fresher ones. I like these LEM 17mm casings, have used them for years, but fresh product works best. BUYER BEWARE: ISSUE WITH STUFFER TUBES AND COLLAGEN CASINGS: CAREFULLY check the OUTER diameter of your stuffer tube before buying collagen casings! Measure it EXACTLY. A dial caliper works great, but a quality finely gradated ruler can work too. To get the collagen casing 'stick' on the tube without unraveling it and putting it on inches at a time: For 16-17mm casings, you need a stuffer tube with an Outer Diameter (OD) of no more than 3/8". For 19mm casings, you need a stuffer tube with no more than a 7/16" OD. For 21mm casings, you need a a stuffer tube with no more than a 1/2" OD. STUFFER TUBE SIZE LABELING IS MISLEADING!! MOST people who haven't already learned this lesson the hard way, believe that when they buy/get a stuffer tube that says it is 3/8", that the stuffer tube has a 3/8" OD. This is FALSE! For some insane reason, stuffer tube makers (including LEM) label their tubes by INNER diameter! I still haven't figured out who in the WORLD cares what a stuffer tube ID is (seems like a scam to me). Secondly, if you CAN find a mfg who admits the labeled 'size' is ID, and also mentions their OD, you can't believe THAT either. For instance, a LEM stainless steel stuffer tube that claims to be 3/8" has an OD of 1/2", and an ID of 7/16". You need at least a 21mm collagen casing to fit the 'stick' on that 1/2" OD tube without unraveling it. You can get 16mm, 17mm, and 19mm collagen casings on a 1/2" OD stuffer tube, but you have to unravel the stick, and feed it onto the tube a couple inches at a time. A patient person can make this work if they are making 5-10# of stix, but it will drive you crazy if you are doing 40-50# (or more) of them.
