They will peel the silicone off the backing. Save the bumpy plastic sheets for storage. It's easiest to clean these in the bathtub. It's too bad these don't come in more colors for different skin tones. EDIT: The first set I had lasted me for about three months before I ruined them by angrily crumpling them up when I was drunk. The second set only lasted two months before they started peeling apart through normal use.
