Best deal around.
Everything in this package is well worth the money I spent.Microphone is pretty good by itself then give it 48v phantom power and it becomes a beast. Sound is excellent with no hum and is ultra sensitive to hearing things I never did with my old microphone nor with my ears. The boom arm is really great in comparison to the one I just returned. It actually has a metal desk mount not the plastic a lot of these use and that means you can actually apply the torque needed for it to hold the arm onto the table. It supports the microphone, XLR cable, POP filter, and my one audio headphones without moving. The pop filter is great for doing its job BUT is weak and wants fall down on its own weight so I have to shift it back up to the point of compensating for the arm sag. Not enough of an issue to give one star less but very close to it.The USB audio interface sounds great in the headset as well as the microphone as 48khz but it polls the device and you can hear it. I would suggest putting this in the draw and using phantom power anyway. Both cables given are pretty good and reject the electrical/EMI I have near (unlike the last one I had). They are not super thin nor pro super thick but way more than adequate so a huge plus.Overall this is well worth the 30-35 US dollars it fluctuates around.

Great Value, needs knowledgeable set up!
Great price on this microphone and it works perfectly. However, much of the reason for that is having the equipment (mic pre-amp with phantom power) and knowledge (sound geek) to set it up well. The usb dongle auto-setup on both win8 and win10 laptops and we were able to use the sound settings to use my headphones as a monitor to check the settings before I start recording. We have a large room air filter 3 feet behind the mic but you won't hear that whitenoise on my recordings. The colleagues on video conferences I have had so far have all agreed I sound great. I am a teacher and plan on using this while recording and giving live lessons instead of the built in laptop or headphones mic. The pickup is good enough that I don't have to have it so close to me that I need the pop-filter but it is a very nice filter. We are using a mic stand so I can't say anything about the gooseneck it comes with, just that the mounting clamp has a standard thread which connected to the mic stand after removing the brass insert.I was a bit cautious about ordering this with the rating at the time. But reading the negative reviews it seemed like most people were having trouble because they weren't setting it up properly.Things I have learned as a complete microphone novice:1. Mics need POWER. Your usb port is unlikely to provide enough power to prevent it from being 'too quiet'.2. Condenser mics are not dynamic mics. You talk into the front not 'all over'.3. You aren't going to open the box, plug it in and have it be perfect. You need more equipment. The only tiny negative is that the usb dongle blinks red constantly when attached and the mic connection to the dongle is a weak link, so each time I reconnect it to the computer (because I am not leaving the red blinking on all the time!) I have to make sure the mic connector is pushed in well or I would have a buzz.Overall, Really great mic for the price.

Best bang for the buck!
You will not find a better deal than this, period. You can throw away the mic and keep all the extras and STILL this is a great buy! I bought two of these as overheads for my drums, it brings so many extras, I sold everything it came with one and pretty much got them for free. Now to the mic, they're GREAT in their price range. Is a CONDENSER mic, it needs phantom power! Is in the product description, on the product pictures, is said pretty much EVERYWHERE! Don't go trying to use it without any kind of amplification and write a review here saying it doesn't work. This is an absolute beginner/on a budget mic, one for learning or improve your phone's stock one. Super sensitive! I have the gain on my mixer almost down to 0 because I use them for drums, compared to my dynamic ones which I have to go way higher on gain.I will not review any of the goodies it comes with because they're for free. What you're buying is the mic, not a pop filter or a XLR cable, buying them separately would be more than this whole kit.

Great mic's terrible mounts
I purchased two of these for recording voices (podcast) and they have not failed us. The sound quality is excellent for the price and gives us a solid studio feel. The arms are pretty good and get the job done.My only concern is with the way the arms mount to a surface. The metal mount breaks very easily the "spot welds" of the bracket that holds the arm to the mount break off nearly instantly. Simple pressure makes them useless. I ended up asking a friend to 3D print me new mounts that work fantastic. So if you are looking for quality microphones with a good arm, pick these. Just remember you will need to find a better way to mount them to your surface of choice.

5 stars for what it is intended to be, and for the extras.
Surprisingly decent sound from this mic, when paired via the included XLR cable with a decent preamp. Forget the included USB interface. What induced me to buy this in the first place is the extras that come with. The boom arm is sturdy. The clip on shock mount is what it is, but as good as any generic clip-on. Ditto the pop filter. If you throw the mic away, the included extras are still worth the price paid. But give the mic a listen. It's very sensitive, huge condenser capsule, and self-noise is no worse that a lot of others you'll find under $200. Well worth it as a starter or backup mic, or perhaps for travel. Check out the YouTube videos comparing this mic to much more expensive units. The BM-800 is the same mic regardless of brand, just search for that model on YouTube. Be prepared to be surprised at how much you get for so little. It's 5 stars for the price point and intended purpose.
