Great for commercial HVAC / Plumbing
Works amazing. Going to take care of it and plan on using it for a long time. I’m an HVAC tech that does the occasional plumbing job, so you can see my van-made gantry setup. I really bought it for hoisting compressors up to rooftops. But a step ladder and crow bar works great with the clamps on the upper unit.

Does exactly what it is supposed at half the price of most 1100 lb hoists. It is noisy but then that's not a surprise, just something to be aware of as it is quite loud.

So far so good. It handles the weight just fine. It’s rather loud (90 db +) but it gets the job done.

Game changer
I purchased 4 of these to use as hoist on the back of my mobile service trucks. The guys really like how easy they are to use! They are built very well and are very durable! I highly recommend these.

Overloads too fast to be useable
This should be zero stars. Normally Vevor tools are okay. You get what you pay for but if you only use something a couple times a month, they’re good enough. However, this winch is useless and beyond frustrating. It overloads way below the load capacity. The effective duty cycle is less than 5% even when just unwinding the cable! You can run it for maybe 10 seconds and then you must wait 2-3 minutes for it to cool even on a cool day. I went back to a manual come along and was way more efficient. Since I’m 3 days past the return window, it’s now just a very expensive steel cable after I crack it open for parts. Plus side: It does hold tension when it overloads so at least you can hold your progress until you connect a chain hoist or come along so you can actually finish the job.

cheap build quality, but ok
Chinese brand, you can tell it's cheaply built. but it can pull for what I need it to. dunno about longevity but we'll see.

Get some help to hang this thing, its a little heavy to be lifting over your head. Safety first.
Amazingly simple to hang this bad boy up, and works like a charm to lift a riding mower up so I can see and fix what I broke. It also works superbly as a lift for my inversion boots. Very cool to operate.
