Our child has taken a number of aerial silk classes, and is now doing it at home. We were looking for a crash mat to place below the silk for safety. She suggested we look at Pit Pillow. She remembered them from when she was in gymnastics. We ended up getting the 4x6x8 model. Shipping was fast and it arrived in perfect condition. It’s a little pricy, but you don’t want to be cheap when it comes to a child’s safety. We are very happy with the purchase. The 8 inch thickness provides a nice amount of cushion. The outer layer also seems to be very durable. Also it isn’t overly heavy making it simple to move around. We feel much better with this product versus those thin gym floor tumbling mats.
