Very pretty substrate, you won’t regret it!
Love this natural substrate. The color is beautiful and looks amazing on top of my black galaxy sand. I did have to wash it several times but it cleared up in my tank within an hour or so. It wasn’t super cloudy because I rinsed it first. The fish and snails don’t seem to mind it at all. I’ve had it a few weeks and it is safe for my fish and plants. I purchased the smaller bag and had plenty to use as accent rock around my larger tank decor. I highly recommend this. I have a 20 gallon long for reference.

The best pebble bed.
I was always a sand guy. I've done freshwater, saltwater, and without a diamond goby, freshwater white sand just was too much maintenance. I didn't light the tank much and still had to constantly move the sand around to hide the algae. This has been the coolest, most beautiful substrate Ive seen in a very long time. It has a natural but seasoned look. No tank shock. Spend the extra few bucks and get what you're looking for. I'll probably try sand again for a saltwater tank but if you're doing fresh water, skip the sand bed and go with this.
