Just be warned, the top fan assembly (with the touchscreen) can get a little stinky inside.I don't know if there's a way to clean inside there. It doesn't look serviceable. All I saw were screws inside the assembly on the underside.This is a very robust, well-made humidifier. Probably top of the line. This is probably the best humidifier out there right now.Researched this hard.Checks all the boxes:- Evaporative fan (no white dust) (no concentrated moisture buildup)- touchscreen controls with settable humidity level- large tank- easy refill with tap water- low maintenance- fundamentally leak-free design (its literally just a bucket holding water)Looks and functions great! (It definitely brings up the humidity in a room.)Just looks and feels nice! (Robust & elegant touchscreen display / model design. High quality feel. A nice, simple, clean look. Just gives off the impression: "This is how a humidifier should be.")The only thing bad that sets me back is the top fan assembly doesn't seem serviceable to clean.I only smell a slight stink coming through the vent at the top and in the underside of the assembly. I cleaned the outer areas, but the stink still is coming from inside. I believe moisture built on the fans and inside. It isn't that bad and isn't noticeable with normal usage, but it is still concerning to me.

We were concerned about the massive mist coming out of our old humidifier (especially on carpet) and decide to try this.Pros:-- Considerably quiet,- evaporative invisible mist - nothing nearby gets wet- Auto Humidify function - we used this most to maintain ideal moisture levels- Can just filled up water from the top- There is fan function to dry the filter- Compare to our old humidifier, this Blue air humidifier doesn’t need as much refill (we used distilled water)Cons:-- need to remember to clean the water container. It’s so convenient to fill the water from the top that sometimes we forget we need to clean the water tank / container.We used it just by setting it on the humidifier itself and never needed to register for the app. We like the no mist concept and bought a second one for the bedrooms.

I really liked this at first. Humidifed well, allows a specific humidity to be set and then is pretty good at maintaining it, very quiet at least on the first 2 fab settings. But most of all, requires MUCH less maintenance (cleaning) than the ultrasonic humidifiers I had been using.So why 1 star? Because after 2 months of working well it started making a loud buzzing sound. The sound is coming from the pump. Obviously defective. So I go to the BlueAir website to get support and find that their website is broken. You can’t register the product which they require you to do to extend the paltry 1 year warranty, and when I try to submit an issue ticket that fails too. Terrible customer support. So hopefully they pickup the phone when I call them, which I hate to have to do.Could have been a good product, maybe I just got a bad unit, but the lack of support is a dealbreaker. I thought this was a good brand. Lesson learned.

I can’t emphasize how well this humidifier works, I was very sick and couldn’t sleep for weeks with a bad flu, I have forced air heat so it was brutal on my sinuses, the first day using this I slept all night without coughing. It automatically adjusts to the humidity in your room and doesn’t leave water puddles or sticky mess, I never even heard it on at night that is how quiet it is, so easy to use right out of the box, and you can change settings with an app application definitely worth the buy
