Nintendo Wii U Console 32GB Land Bundle (Renewed)

Wow! It's hard to believe that this Wii U was ever used. It look brand new! I plugs things in and fired it up, and works perfectly. I put in the Wind Waker HD disk to test it. I played for about an hour with no problems. I already have another Wii U which is the Wind Waker special version of the Wii U. I bought this renewed Wii U to so as not to put any wear on my Wind Waker version. Actually, I wasn't putting wear on it per se, because I have a Wii U pro controller and I use for most things. I didn't even realize that they were including a copy of Nintendoland with it. Now I've got two copies. I think the first thing I'm going to do is replay Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Beautifully restored console at an excellent price!

The console itself works really well! I haven’t had any issues with games not loading, and there isn’t any major physical damage. Cosmetically the console is pretty banged up- there’s scratches all over the console and the game pad, and some grime under the joysticks. I’ve had the most issues with the game pad. Often it won’t connect with the WiiU, making it near impossible to use it when games require it. Also, after a month of use, the battery is shot, so the game pad is only usable when it’s charging. Overall I’m not super disappointed in the product. I’m glad that I can go back and play older games that I haven’t gotten the chance to play. And I know it’s an older console, and that there’s going to be cosmetic and mechanical issues.

We don’t know anything about Wiis, Nintendos, PlayStations, etc. Based on our research there appeared to be a 50/50 chance a refurbished unit would work & we didn’t want to spend the extra money on a brand new Wii U. It froze repeatedly when we first got it, and after researching & calling tech support it stopped freezing for a couple of weeks. We were never able to play games on just the game pad. Nonethe less, our 6 & 8 yr olds enjoyed playing on the TV. Having no prior experience with any gaming devices we thought perhaps the biggest issue of freezing has been resolved. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Even though we are now outside the return period & now have an expensive paperweight I still stand by the purchase. We knew the risks of buying a refurbished device & could have returned it earlier based on the issues we had. We made a choice to try & work through them. I recommend a refurbished device for those who understand the risks & are willing to themselves accountable for the choices they make.

Unfortunately had the same experience as some others. Package arrived right on time and console and accessories looked like new. But the console would not work. Started up, but got stuck on the wii U start up screen. Tried all the tricks recommended on line, but could not get it to go any further. Read on Nintendo support site that this meant you had to return it, nothing to be done. Lesson learned: I should have read more reviews before purchasing a refurbished console. Ended up going to Game Stop and got a pre owned console. Working like a charm.

We used to have a Wii but was stolen in 2010 when our home was robbed.. I never knew that the Wii was the one thing my daughters missed mostly out of everything we lost.. then on Aug 28, our house was flooded by Harvey and we lost what little we had remaining...but the girls still talked about how much they missed their Wii back from back years ago (they are 15 & 16 yrs old now)...so in an effort to bring some long overdue happiness back to their lives during this long journey in trying to rebuild our home and normalcy of life, I decided to get them a Wii. It arrived super fast and my girls have been smiling ever since they opened the box. It has brought them closer as sisters and us closer all as a family since we can all play together. I haven't heard them laugh so hard together in I can't even remember when.. for that I would give it a 100 star rating if I could... thank you so so so much!

The controllers did not work, but the main parts did work so I guess I can't be totally upset. When I tried to have them give me controllers that worked they said for me to just return the entire system. I requested a label and never heard back lol. I did not think the entire system should have went back but it would be nice to at least get 1 single working rechargeable remote out of the two that was provided.

Works great. Isn’t scratched basically at all but came with wrong game and the sensor cord is a bit messed up.

The console came in near perfect shape! Works great, shipping was fast. Even had a stylus with it. My kids couldn’t be happier!
