Levoit HEPA Air Purifier for Bedroom Home, Ultra-Quiet, Energy Efficient

The Levoit Mini is an awesome little air purifier, which I used on my desk for 3 weeks. I smoke at my desk and noticed that the tobacco smell disappeared in the lounge (not that it was overwhelming anyway). I liked the brand so much that this Mini one now lives next to my bed, and I bought a reduced price Levoit Core 300 for the lounge. The Core 300 is such a beast that it even gets rid of the stench of dispair. The sleep mode on both models are quiet enough to not disturb sleep; other settings are easy to get to grips with. I couldn't really recommend one model over another, I think which model you choose depends on where you want to use it. The Mini seems more useful in smaller areas (e.g. on a desk, next to a bed), the full size Core 300 copes better in larger, more odour prone areas such a whole lounge. In the interest of an honest review, the little fragrance sponge in the Mini isn't very useful. Having said that, like many modern homes, I use waterless fragrance oil diffusers in the rooms where I use these air purifiers and noticed both a pro and a con using them together...if you put the diffuser in the middle of the air purifier (where the controls are), the air coming from the top of the purifier disperses the scent further. The downside is that the purifiers are so good at what they do that the scent doesn't linger as long as it would without the purifier in the room.

I got this as I have severe asthmatic issues as well as other breathing issues with my lungs and heart. I'd say this has helped tremendously at times, to help clear up the air a bit. I definitely feel that the air feels a lot clearer after having this on, making my breathing much better. I usually run this through the night every night, as it works well as a white noise effect too, which is very beneficial for my hyperacusis and tinnitus. The size and appearance isn't that big on this model, which is really helpful, as it can be stored away during the day easily and doesn't take up too much space in the room when in use. I've found the durability of this great thus far, it has been knocked around accidentally a few times by kids and cats, but yet is still going strong. The settings on this device are very simple to follow too.

We bought the LEVOIT 300s Smart Wifi Air Purifier to hopefully improve the air quality in our home, driven by a desire for better sleep and to potentially alleviate hay fever symptoms and reduce mould buildup through improved air circulation. Initially, I wasn't entirely convinced the air quality monitor was working - as it always read 1PM2.5 for the first day or so. However, after checking the app regularly, I've noticed a consistent pattern: around the time we're making food, the air quality reading invariably gets significantly worse, even though the purifier is located in a different room. This clearly indicates the sensor is indeed picking up on airborne particles and changes in air quality. On its lowest setting, the air purifier is definitely quiet, enough so for sleeping. While I have no scientific way to prove it, I do subjectively feel like I sleep much better with it running at night. What I can confirm with certainty is its effectiveness at removing smells from rooms; putting it on full blast for a few minutes does an impressive job of clearing out lingering odours. The smart features accessible through the app are genuinely handy. I particularly appreciate the ability to schedule when the fan turns on and off, or have it change speeds with the air quality. I typically set it to run for a while before we go to bed, ensuring the air is refreshed when we settle down for the night. It's quite difficult to quantify the precise effect this unit has during normal, day-to-day operation when the air quality might not be overtly poor. However, when the air is noticeably bad (as indicated by the sensor during cooking, for example), it definitely does an excellent job of bringing the air quality back to good, healthy levels. Overall: The LEVOIT 300s is a quiet, smart, and effective air purifier that clearly responds to changes in air quality. While the benefits for chronic issues like hay fever or long-term mould prevention are harder to definitively measure as a user, its ability to clear odours and improve air quality in response to detected pollutants is impressive. If you're looking for a user-friendly, smart air purifier to generally enhance your indoor environment and tackle occasional bad air, this is a solid choice.

Bought this in April and it has been brilliant. It helps keeps the dust down in our small, old, and rather dusty house, the air is noticeably fresher after it has run for a while, and we get less sneezing and better sleeping. It deals very well with cooking smells, stops them hanging around for hours. It's easy to carry about the house but it would be easier if it had some kind of handle, and cable storage would help as well. The controls are easy to understand and it runs very quietly. Overall an excellent gadget, in fact we liked it so much that we bought another (bigger) one.

Omg this Levoit air purifier is amazing , read the reviews first and so thought I’d try it . Was not disappointed i got the small one which is more than enough for my living room and a lot bigger than it looks . Love the power settings and can feel the air clean . I have since Bought another one for the hallway and again the air feels clean when you come down the stairs . I prefer the plug in type not interested in a remote control one as this is fine for me . You won’t be disappointed. A great size for the smallest one and wouldn’t need Bigger for any of my rooms . Love the fact It has 3 settings . So happy with purchase which was quick and easy

Works really well, seems to be helping, looks good, great size, it's quiet, can sleep through it, easy to put together, instructions are easy to follow, as shown in image, pricey but worth the investment for our asthmatic kitten

Review of Eleva 300X: I've had two previous Levoit air purifiers, the 300 and the mini. Apart from the cost of replacement filters I've been really happy with them. They are quiet, reliable and easy to use. I wanted a third purifier and was attracted by the idea of air quality sensors and an app for monitoring. The purifier is very quiet in operation and slightly bulkier than my 300. However, the electronics it has are unnecessarily over complicated. The top panel is confusing. When off, you can't see anything until you touch it. When on, there is a very bright coloured light ring that shows air quality and a huge numerical display. You can turn it off or have it dim automatically. The app is hugely over complicated and filled with AI bloat which serves no purpose. I just want to know the air quality and the settings. I do not want location permissions, notifications, AI assessments of air quality, and being asked how I feel this morning. I don't want settings for mood, usage, analysis reports etc. I just want it to filter air and tell me if levels go too high. The only good feature is that it can automatically lower it's lights and fan speed in dim lighting so good for TV evenings but as there's no sensitivity setting it does this when it's cloudy too. The sensor is only for particulates, not for CO2, CO or VOCs. I regret purchasing this over the much cheaper 300 model. I could have purchased a proper air quality monitor with the saved money. Apart from the sensor, it's just a fan with a filter like all the others. Think carefully if you really need this.

Alors, après plus d’un mois d’utilisation assidue et quotidienne, je peux enfin donner un avis. J’ai choisi d’acheter un purificateur d’air UNIQUEMENT pour la fumée de tabac et son odeur contrairement à d’autres acheteurs qui mentionnent d’autres raisons telles que les allergies. Je fume des roulées avec filtre dans ma chambre de 12 mètres carrés je dirais et le reste de la maisonnée non et le purificateur d’air est placé entre mon lit et le bureau sur une petite table pour être surélevé. La porte est pour la plupart du temps fermée. Déjà, le bruit. Vitesse 1, quasi inexistant. Encore moins en mode sommeil. Cependant, grâce à l’application, on finit par l’éteindre complètement dans le lit car ça reste un bruit de fond. Vitesse 2, très supportable, on peut discuter, regarder des vidéos etc sans être particulièrement gêné. Vitesse 3, c’est un combat de décibel et on augmente beaucoup le son de ce qu’on écoute (pour rappel il est à moins d’un mètre de moi) Pour ce qui est de l’efficacité continuelle Le garder en route de manière constante lorsqu’on fume est bien pour garder un niveau d’impureté dans l’air non exorbitante. Cependant, au bout de 1 ou 2 cigarette, il se mettra au max (si vous êtes en mode auto) et voilà le bruit. Ainsi, je le garde à la vitesse 2 car la 1ere ne purifie malheureusement pas assez l’air ni rapidement, et ça se dégrade très vite et beaucoup. À la vitesse 2, ça maintient l’air relativement correct. Donc, si vous fumez pendant son utilisation, ça ne va pas faire des miracles, mais l’air restera digeste pour les personnes qui débarqueraient la où vous êtes. Ce qui est intéressant, c’est lorsque vous arrêtez de fumer, à la vitesse max (3) l’indicateur de l’air redeviendra bleu (soit la meilleure couleur après le vert qui suit l’orange qui suit le rouge) en 15-25 min selon votre utilisation précédente de la machine et la quantité de cigarettes. Sachant qu’il passera automatiquement de vitesse en vitesse pendant ce laps de temps au fur et à mesure que l’air s’améliore. Le résultat : L’odeur de cigarette ne se sent plus dans le couloir. La chambre en elle-même, la fumée est dissipée, l’odeur est tout à fait honorable. C’est pas parfait, faut pas se mentir, y a quand même une odeur mais de la à dire cigarette, on est pas certain, c’est plutôt un neutre qui reste désagréable mais qui n’est plus aussi étouffant qu’avant. Mes yeux ne piquent plus. Le commentaire de ma mère « ça sent beaucoup beaucoup… beaucoup moins » (cpdt elle est elle-même fumeuse donc attention à son nez un peu biaisé) Ouvrir la fenêtre reste nécessaire de temps à autre, mais pour avoir la même efficacité niveau odeur etc, il faut garder la fenêtre ouverte longtemps tandis que la machine fait ça plus rapidement et continuellement. (Étant donné que j’ai un chat et que je suis au 5eme, je ne peux avoir la fenêtre ouverte s’il est dans la chambre (toute une histoire bref)) J’ai précisé plus haut que je fumais des roulées, car j’ai eu quelques jours avec des blondes - ce n’est pas la même ambiance… la machine reste efficace mais beaucoup moins. Je ne sais pas ce qui rend la fumée des blondes si épaisses et si odorantes par rapport aux roulées (qui elles aussi sentent fort) mais en tout cas, moi-même avait du mal à rester dans ma chambre malgré le purificateur. Rien ne marchera contre les blondes à mon humble avis. Autre point, le filtre. Étant donné mon utilisation très précise et excessive de la machine, qui se bat continuellement contre la cigarette, je suis à 83% du filtre en 1 mois et quelque. Je ne trouve pas ça choquant étant donné tout ce qu’il filtre et le résultat qui me satisfait énormément. Et petit plus : l’application. Cette dernière permet de contrôler la machine à distance, choisir les modes, l’éteindre ou l’allumer tandis qu’on est même pas à la maison. Comme je disais, pratique lorsqu’on se met au lit. Et on a une idée de l’état de l’air plus précis qu’avec l’écran rouge qui s’affiche déjà aux alentours de 80 - 100 PM2,5 (notion vague de cette unité de mesure) alors qu’avec la cigarette on monte facilement dans les 200 - 300 et la machine à vitesse 1, dans les 500. En vitesse 2, je maintiens entre 140 et 220 je dirais. Bref, tout ça pour dire que cette machine fait des miracles pour moi car la cigarette est un fléau pour les yeux, le nez, la gorge et les poumons, que ça languit dans l’air comme si on était dans un cendrier et qu’avec ce purificateur, ce n’est plus le cas, au moins pour les yeux et le nez et que je ne baigne plus dans les cendres. En espérant aider d’autres personnes dans mon cas de fumeuse, qui chercherait à préserver leur entourage de leur addiction.

Antes de dar mi opinión decidí probarlo durante algunas semanas,la verdad el polvo ha reducido muchísimo,aproveche en tomar esta foto mientras hacía limpieza de filtro como evidencia de que funciona a la perfección
