Looking at web belts? Buy THIS one!
I love, love, love this belt. It is sturdy, well made, and the buckle locks TIGHT! I've worn this daily for quite some time and it is as new. The 1.5" width is perfect for jeans and BDUs. Unlike the old web belts, this baby never loosens up. The only complaint at all I have is with the elastic keeper--it lasted perhaps two weeks before it was entirely stretched out and useless. Why not include a keeper made from the nylon webbing that would remain useful for years? Honestly, I guess the extra plastic buckle is nice, but I'd happily swap it for a better keeper. At the end of the day, I recommend this as worth more than the asking price and recommend it. Update 2022: I've turned co-workers onto this belt, and the love it. I've put on a few pounds in the three years I've had mine, and the stress is a bit much for it to keep locked. So, I've just bought the longer version. Works perfectly and stays tight. For the money, I don't think you can buy a better web belt.

Innovative design and sleek appearance, but...
Update and Up-Grade. Getting the hang of latching the belt into place. Still requires significant effort, but I make it work. This is a "keeper". The belt holds securely and looks fine. A good value and nice belt. Here's my original negative review from a week ago: Darn near impossible for me to latch the free end of the belt. I am quite strong with a strong grip. I haven't worked out a reasonable way to latch the free end, and often - in the process - I inadvertently release the captive end and have to start all over. I haven't thrown it away, yet, but am close to doing so.

Holds well. Buckle does not slip. Strong. Looks good.
This is a decent belt. The buckle is not as hard as some others say to buckle. My past experience with this type of belt is slippage. This belt doesn't slip. It's easy to quickly adjust say, at the end of the day when you want it a little kisser to sit and relax. The more expensive tactical belts with the fancy mechanical buckles have to be taken off the pants to adjust. The only thing, and very minor issue, is the buckle does not sit flat. One side protrudes a little more than the other, so it appears awkward. In summary, I would highly recommend this belt. Not to mention very favorably priced.

Higher Quality than Expected
The buckle was heavier duty than I expected, as was the belt itself. I mostly wanted this style of belt for long hikes, outdoor work and days when it's hot or raining and a leather belt is inappropriate. The belt itself is very long and will need to be cut down a bit. If you are not familiar with this style of belt buckle it may take you a few minutes to figure it out, but I have found them sturdy and reliable. I did not expect it, but the set I ordered also came with a plastic version of the buckle which is not nearly as durable, but is not metal so can go through metal detectors at the airport. I then swap out buckles, which takes 10 seconds, when I reach my destination.

Quality for the price.
Works as intended. Seems very strong and helps hold my pants up with my edc.

Doesn't Slip
I like web belts. But the buckles often slip under stress. So I looked for one that wouldn't slip, and scored on this belt. The belt itself is great, a combo of cotton and nylon. But it's the buckles that shine here. The metal buckle is great. Heavy, rigid, and simple. Cons? It 'clanks' when it's open. That's about it. The plastic buckle is every bit as good, but without the clank. I am able to make it slip one rib on the belt (about 1/8" or so) under heavy stress but it's fine under normal circumstances. I recommend it.

Best belt that replaced all others
The best belt I've ever bought, my favorite is the metal buckle, I don't ever use the other ones it comes with.

Nice and secure
The clasp mechanism is different from either a brass military belt or a scuba weight belt, but it works very well. I use this to hold up a pair of Salt Life shorts that I wear to the gym. I can do 4+ miles on the treadmill then go down to the pool, kick my shoes off and get in some yards at the pool. The nylon shorts I use aren't really swim trunks so the pockets fill up like parachutes when I push off the wall. This belt doesn't loosen and stays exactly at the setting I set it at regardless of how hard you push off. The security of the clasp is also a bonus when I carry.

Quality issues
The belt is made from thick fibre, but the buckle is rubbish. Cheap fragile plastic.
