After some installation issues (easily fixed with a quick Google and reading instructions!) this has been a wonderful addition to my PC - I can now happy store all my media on one drive, using the others for backups. I'm a casual user and so haven't benchmarked or measured it's speed, but it is speedy enough with no noticeable lag for me. Would recommend to anyone looking to expand their storage that has a compatible OS

This was fixed easily after going to Power Settings > Drive > Turn ...
I waited to type up this review so I could give an accurate opinion after using it for a while. Here is my experience with this product, hopefully it'll help you guys out.Note : I had a few issues initially with this product freezing my PC, but it was down to my PC configuration rather than the product itself and it seemed common across the web. This fixed it for me on Windows 10 anniversary update. This is not a negative against the product, but against how Windows is set up at default. It used to freeze my PC every <10 minutes, not show up on My Computer as having any memory etc. as though it was plugged in but unreadable. This was fixed easily after going to Power Settings > Drive > Turn off hard disk after > NeverOn to the Review:I use this drive to store all my PC games to it now that they are getting to 50GB per game, I needed an upgrade. After formatting, I have 3.63TB usable on a Windows 10 Home PC.Games like Witcher 3 and Battlefield One take less than 20 seconds from the thought entering my head to play it until I'm physically controlling a character in game, giving great speeds for a non Solid State. If you're looking for a drive upgrade for a good price, this is it, especially for the amount of memory you get.

So far i really cant complain much faster than previsions HDD
I needed an upgrade in speed and size, i wanted a SDD but they are still not in the best price range and i needed at least 4TB. I stumbled across these hybrid drives i had never heard of them before and did a bit of research and took the gamble. It payed off everything runs faster from this drive. I do loads of video editing and when using this drive it has halved my rendering time. It was so easy to install and took less than 5 minutes to format it ready for use. Great product i shall be getting another at some point soon.

Well packed, good performance
I was worried about the packaging given previous reviews, but it arrived well packaged with 2 boxes, padding and plastic "shock protectors".Cloning from the system disk (500GB) to this one took about 40 minutes over USB3 and this was in the PC and running within an hour. Plenty of room for system and 2 data partitions. Almost as fast as a "real" SSD for boot times and very quiet so far.

Failed after 15 Months of use
Was a great drive for the price but unfortunately it seems you get what you pay for. I took a chance on a Seagate drive after hearing many bad things over the years and at first all was fine. After about a year I started getting various errors and then the drive caused such system failure that I had to wipe my OS drive and have a clean install. It then just vanished from my system and did not register as being connected and randomly popped back into existence a few weeks later. Since then it has trouble playing a movie file without buffering. Started out well but has not lasted. Just outside of warrenty too.... ho hum.

No more memory worries!
Like some other reviewers I'm not using this drive for conventional means, I have in fact connected this to my PS4 via the Nyko Databank (though I've heard everyday adopters work just fine)Installation of the software has succeeded along with save backups, just need to re-download everything, but from the few games I've tested load times are just as good if not improved due to the drive Hybrid nature. One thing that had concerned me that no instruction manual of any sort came with it, just the anti static bag, placeholders to prevent it moving in the box, and the drive itself. And for that I have to knock a star off.

Superb. But requires a fix if you use it as the c: drive (> 2Gb!). Some programs refuse to install because free space is infeasibly large!!Died on me two weeks ago, hence 2 star review, but still under guarantee. Got an RMA from Seagate and eventually a replacement. Be interesting to see if this one dies too! Will update the review periodically.

Reliability Issues
Reliability is clearly not a strength for these Seagate hybrids. Performance initially great but after a 12-16 months fings sort of died and now the performance is slower than your average HDD which is a pity. Trying currently the Seagate utilities to salvage matters but it looks as if it will be RMA bound.
