Where do I begin?The buttons are not something to rely on. I can see them either falling off or the tops detaching. It's not a solid button. It's two thin metal parts clipped together to make a button. Because of the style of this jacket, with the buttons being the accent to the actual style ; why go with cheap precarious buttons?! I'm so confused.The fabric of the overall jacket is like a decent grade of spandex. The fabric where the buttons are (making the "lines") is a satin type of material that contrasts poorly with the spandex material of the jacket. I guess if this were a costume I could deal but even then the cost doesn't warrant the construction. I knew this would never last a washing without shrinking or buttons falling off so I'm going to return it. I'm disappointed because it shows so well in the picture and let me down in person.At the end of the day I like to ask myself if the juice is worth the squeeze and the answer is "no".This should have cost less.

I like this coat, it was not the material I was expecting but did the job. I was under the impression it would be a firm cotton, but in stead it is a Lycra kinda spandex. The coat is adorable, I really liked it and is very comfortable to wear. I did get several compliments on it. The buttons sound like jingle bells when you walk! LOL! You can really dress it up or down.

In general, the jacket itself fits as expected. It’s stretchy, the zipper is ok, and the red is a deeper burgundy than a red. However, the buttons on mine are falling apart, where one of them is missing the cap (which is nowhere in the packaging). The buttons are cheap and I wouldn’t rate the quality at worth what I paid since I’m going to have to replace all of the buttons.

I'll start this review off by saying that the only reason I took off one star is because of the buttons... When I got the jacket I spent about a 1/2 an hour reinforcing the buttons with thread. Probably actually closer to an hour. The jacket itself looks fabulous but the buttons are hanging all the way down and look like they're about to fall off at a seconds notice. The jacket fits well... I am a size 16 and I ordered the 2X. I am 5' 8 and about 210 pounds. The jacket is made with spandex. So it's quite stretchy. This makes it fit really well because it curves to your shape. I absolutely adore this jacket looks phenomenal. The fact that I had to sew on the buttons is of little consequence.I have gotten a lot of compliments on this already. This is definitely a great addition to your closet but just be aware that you're going to have to sew the buttons on.. I have not washed it as of yet so not quite sure how will wash.

I’m a size US 14 and 5’7” - it fit great! I tend to like my clothes snug so if I bought this again, I’d get a Large but XL fit like you’d expect it to. Wore it out for Halloween multiple nights and all the buttons and everything are still in tact. The fabric is also stretchy so it’s easy to move in!

I absolutely love this jacket, I bought it in Red first then bought a back one I get 1-2 complement on the jacket every time I where it!!On sizing I normally wear a large but definitely had to order an extra large

It's so awesome! As a cosplayer and cosmaker I would reccomend this piece.However, I reccomend keeping your body type in mind. If your torso is longer than average, it might fit in a way that makes you feel awkward. Same with the bust and hips. If you have d cup breasts, I reccomend getting at least the medium size. MEASURE YOUR BODY ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS. Once you measure yourself and find your size, GO A SIZE UP. This is vital to ultimately receiving an item that is closely tailored to you.In conclusion to this subject:• Be very aware of how you are built when purchasing this jacket.• Use critical thinking when you decide which size you think is right for you.• GO A SIZE UP. Whatever size the manufacturer reccomends for your measurements, go a size up. If you forgo this tip and decide that you are willing to risk, good on you! I might be wrong in your case; that is where the critical thinking comes in.• Read the comments and decide if the pros or the cons are higher for you.As for the quality? Honestly I bought this knowing that I would potentially recieve something that is on par with the quality of a Walmart Halloween costume. It's not exactly on that level, but it is definitely not a piece you should be wearing on a daily basis. The matieral almost feels like a pair of generic baseball pants. It really is a blend of spandex and cotton. In my opinion, I love the way it feels.Another thing that was brought up in the reviews frequently was the quality of the decorative buttons. This is a zip up jacket so there really is no function of these, but I really love the way they accent the jacket. Yes, they do feel cheap, but that was a con I already considered. I personally reiforced the buttons with even more thread, something I highly reccomend you, as the buyer, consider doing when you purchase this.In conclusion to this subject:• The fabric is soft and light (not super breathable but this was an easy con for me to ignore), not suitable for colds days or extreme heat (I suspect it will get uncomfortable at 50 degrees Fahrenheit and uncomfortable at around 90 degrees Fahrenheit).• The buttons are pretty cheap, but the detail in them are super ornate and aesthetically pleasing to look at.• The buttons should probably be reinforced by more thread, but I'll leave that decision to you upon your inspection and opinion of the product.• Be smart with where and when you choose to wear this jacket.In conclusion to this review:I would have given three stars if I didn't love the aesthetic of this jacket so much. The reason for this rating is mainly for the buttons and the sizing. If you think the pros outway the cons for you (and I'm pretty sure they will!), I would highly reccomend making this purchase. :)

Red was more like wine but overall very nice blazer.

Prefect for when I am playing "Buttons" in our work production of Cinderella for our residents. Also going to be perfect for wearing to go out in.

Nice stretch to it. I will be using it for carriage driving shows (it will look great with my black pony!) and I am very very pleased with my purchase. Very pleased! I am 5.5, 140lbs, 36" bust - fits as expected.

MUCH better quality than anticipated. Great fit and feel!
