🏍️ Upgrade your Harley’s grip game—never let a loose fairing slow you down!
This kit includes 10 brand-new brass inserts and 1 installation tool designed specifically for Harley Touring Batwing fairings from 1986 to 2018. It solves the common issue of factory inserts spinning or pulling out, ensuring a secure, long-lasting hold for your windshield and fairing screws.

Kit worked perfectly
After reading some negative reviews I was sceptical about ordering this but for the price I thought hey I'll take a chance and I wasn't disappointed. This kit works great just as good as the more expensive kit. The handle worked just like it should. If you work on baggers this kit is great. Works good. Install tool needs to be better.
Worked exactly as described however the tool is less that desired and broke halway through the first one I just used a bolt and a wrench to complete the install

Don't waste your money at the Harley shop this kit will work just as good if not better
As stated above this kit will work just as good if not better than what the Harley shop sells and even better you'll have more money in your pocket at the end of the day if you're looking for a recommendation this is it

Good fit.
These worked perfect for my 2015 Street Glide CVO...People have said that these wouldn’t work but they do. I did and you should bore the hole out slightly so you don’t crack your fairing but after the bore they screw in with no issues. The local Harley dealership recommended the slight bore as this is what is required.

It's not a Helicoil
But it kinda works. I got it to work on one of the outer nut bosses, but not the other outer boss. It split it out. The middle one was OK. The main problem with the installing tool is that it's made out of a rather soft plastic, which embedded the insert into the tool. HELLO! Make the tool out of metal! DUH!The outer nut boss that split ... I chiseled it down flat, drilled a hole strait through the back side of the Batwing, and found a nylon spacer that I ground to the correct angle of the back of the Batwing, and nylock nutted it in place. Not the prettiest thing, but it works a heck of a lot better than the original Harley setup.

Threads fixed!
No instructions but if you make sure you start it straight and use a wrench to install, it goes in fairly easy.. Solved it problem.

inserts are good tool not so much
The tool that comes with it is cheap only used it to start insert then used a bolt to run it home

Worked great!
The taper on the threads made it easy to start in the stripped out hole. They installed flush in the fairing and are holding tight.
