I received this last week. The cover is brittle feeling, and very stiff. I had a difficult time trying to unfold it and spread it out. It has very deep crease lines that look like they will split over time. While most of the air cells are still intact, they are very crushed. The ends curl under and sink when trying to cover the pool, causing a lot of water to pool on top of the cover. When I unfolded the cover to get the warranty paperwork, I found a sticker with an inspection date on it. This cover was produced on 7/18/2012. I was sent a cover that is FIVE years old, and has been sitting in a warehouse for that amount of time, and explains the brittleness of the plastic. This cover only has a seven year warranty, so how long this expensive cover will last is questionable. IUPDATE. The seller investigated the issue and helped me resolve. Believing this was sent from manufacturer this way. So zero stars for manufacturer, four stars for seller..

Bought this cover 7/1/16 and it was really good while it was. The clear diamonds are much more effective at heating the water than the blue covers I used to buy. However, the diamonds are coming off and the cover is literally starting to disintegrate and rip. We have a very short swimming season and clean off the cover and store it inside in the off season, so I would not have expected this to fail so soon. If you want to replace your cover every 2 years or so with only 3 months of use per year, then this works great for that amount of time. If you have a longer swimming season, I think you would be replacing the cover every year.

This cover is 18' around, as it states, for a 15' pool. Thought I would just let the extra curl over the top but found that I needed to trim it to 15' or it didn't work well. That wasn't hard to do, just a little time-consuming as I wanted to measure and cut precisely. Water heats up nicely with the cover. The only thing that might be nice is a hole or two near the center for water to drain out that finds its way onto the top, such as rain. But, maybe that would defeat the purpose of the cover. I think I can get at least two years' use from this cover if not three.

This pool cover failed in 1 1/2 seasons. It has literally disintegrated. The diamond bubbles have shed the plastic leaving hundreds of tiny plastic particles floating in our pool.In Oregon we have a shorter pool season. The cover has been stored indoors in the off season.

Works better than expected, having a pool that is shaded from 3pm on all summer long we lose a lot of heat over night last 2 weeks we have left it on all week and take off on the weekends and with some cooler nights our pool is almost the warmest it's been all year long. Saturday was sitting at 86 degrees last 3 nights have been in low to mid 50s at night and low 80s during day time and we are still sitting at over 80 degrees, would highly recommend this product!

This is the first time we used this Sun2Solar cover, and we love it. We did use the other blue cover without the silver, and it got warm, but this one warmed the water more and deeper than the other. It has held together well, not breaking apart, from the water and sun like the other did. It is thicker than the regular solar covers, rolls up nicely. We will order this again, when the first one is used up.

First summer this cover was great. Getting ready for swimming season this year and many of the blue bubbles are separating from the silver backing. This cover has a 1 year full warranty and a 10 year limited warranty. I've contacted the company and appears they are trying to work with me.

We’ve only had this a couple months so don’t really know about durability yet, but this is one of the best covers we’ve had for heating the pool up! We’ve been through about 5 or 6 in our 20 years as pool owners and this one is by far the best yet for heating purposes!!
