My wife and I recently had an awesome steak dinner at a VERY nice restaurant in New Orleans (Mr. B’s Bistro) and we both commented on how comfortable the steak knives felt in our hands and how they seemed to cut through the meat so effortlessly. I actually took the time to examine the blade for a manufacturers mark. When we finished our meal I took a photo of the blade and the markings. Later that night I looked up “Laguiole” knives by Chopmate and found them to be available through Amazon. Since they come 6 knives to a set, we ordered two sets. The knives are light in your hand without feeling cheap. They look elegant on the table and they cut like a dream. You can easily spend considerably more for steak knives but there is really no need to do so when these are available.If they are good enough for a high end restaurant in New Orleans, I’m confident they’re good enough for your table too.

In the past I have ordered very expensive steak knives and cutlery! The end result was always the same! The handles broke off, they would get dull as time passed, and take a beating in the dishwasher over time....I came across these babies and let me tell you for the money the quality isn't bad! They cut through a steak that was 1 1/2 inches with ease! No Lie! I have The Fiesta Silverware in my kitchen and these look like a true match and are a fraction of the cost! The set comes with a baby wooden block to keep them in on the counter! It's a win win all the way around! If they should fall apart, I won't feel so bad! So far so good....I'm on my 2nd month with them!

We have a 6 knife set of chrome Laquiole steak knives in our mountain cabin. We ordered these colorful Laguiole style set of 6 with a sturdy wood block and have used them already on the day they arrived, 1/19/21, and they work just like our other set which is they are outstanding. They cut well and have a unique style. Now we have 12 knives and will be using them at our first BBQ party of twelve or more as soon as this pandemic is shut down. It looks we will have to get another set, of these by Chopmate, as whoever gets to use one of the chrome knives may feel sad that the color ones were chozen first.

OK for the money, wood block was very good. Like the colors.

I was excited to receive these and very disappointed when I got them. They are sharp but flimsy they grip well they are rust resistant they are light. But they don't work well And the wooden block is made incorrectly the block leans to the right so it makes it dangerous. I tried to reach out to the seller and never received a response.

I have the Laguiole knives from France and love them. When I went to order more, the price was crazily expensive so I decided to take a chance and puchase these copycats. Same look, same feel and they are sharp. Colors are vibrant and only if you look at the bee trademark closely, do you see a different kind of bee. Great knives, going to purchase more sets for my family.

I love these knives, they feel really good in your hand and very sturdy overall. Love the color and how the set fits into our kitchen even though it's rainbow colored. Highly recommend!!

Nothing to dislike. I like that the knifes cut the meat, pork, beef, chicken,very well. I also like the colors of the knifes. The price was great.
