What is the width of the hook part of this?

The hook is tapered. The tip of the hook is approximately 0.2 inch, and the main body of the hook where it meets the holder is just under 1/2-inch.

How wide is the hook base? I have 1/2" slot rack with a 3/4" insertion point

The hook base is 1.5" wide. The "blade" is 7/16" wide and should fit nicely in a 1/2" slot. My pot rack is made of two 1"x2"s spaced 1/2" apart.

Are there hooks the same dimension as the ones from taylor ng ? will they fit ?

I have them mixed with the Taylor & Ng hooks on the same rack and they work fine on all the pots.
