Finally found my holy grail foundation! This is so thin & lightweight, yet has coverage and is very smoothing! It's beautiful & wears for a very long time. It doesn't settle into fine lines and it stays matte! It's perfect! I hope they never discontinue it!

Finally, the perfect daily foundation for my skin. I'm 55, with combination, cool toned skin. I wanted something light to medium coverage that lasted all day and didn't feel heavy. I used Revlon color stay for years, but it felt like a mask after several hours. The texture is perfect with this formula! It blends very well, doesn't settle into fine lines, and it isn't drying. Also, I love that it's luminous but not too shiny. It looks like my skin (but better) and feels natural. I recommend.

I have been on a quest to find the perfect foundation for months (year?). I have fair, combination skin with cool pink undertones, and am nearing 40, so I need something that works for mature skin. Lighter coverage products work better for me as I age, and I hate the feeling of heavy makeup on my skin, but I still wanted something that would help my fine lines, large pores, and uneven texture. I also struggle with dry skin that also somehow gets very oily around my T-zone. This stuff is just. Perfect. Exactly what I wanted and needed. It has a luminous finish that gives the perfect amount of dewy for me, but holds oil at bay in my worst areas. It blends and layers beautifully. It feels light on the skin and doesn't cake or crease. I have tried everything, from high-end, expensive brands (hello Chanel), to drug store, and my search stops here, on a very budget friendly option (thank goodness!). The ONLY thing that could make it better was if it had spf, but I would also hate for this formula to be compromised in any way. It's just beautiful!

I absolutely love this foundation! It feels lightweight but still gives great coverage without looking cakey. The finish is beautiful and leaves my skin looking smooth and fresh. It also lasts really well throughout the day. Definitely one of my favorites!

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm either in denial or always thinking there's always something better. I was in search of a foundation for the summer that would not come off in patches or slide off during the day. The weather has been brutal, and I've been sweating, even while sitting outdoors. I did a search for foundations that would not slide off and budget friendly and it recommended this one. The foundation is excellent, the match is very good! Once it sets, it strives to stay on my face. The finish is a beautiful, luminous matte. I don't put on much to accomplish the coverage I need and it does not look thick or cakey. Warning, though, be careful in your choice of a setting powder. I need some to mattify areas that I tend to get oily or to blur certain areas of the face. Powder can ruin the effect of the foundation too much and it can go cakey so I've been trying to learn and go straight with a mattifying setting spray and then just a little powder in areas where I need more blurring and mattifying. This is a good foundation. I don't know why I'm always thinking that I should search for something new in the hopes of making life easier. Learning to stick with this one for now, at least for the summer!

I originally tried this foundation because CoverGirl quit making the makeup I had been using, and I’ve been trying to find something that gives me a similar look and feel. By far, this is the closest I’ve found to what I was looking for! I got the 128 shade and really like it. The finish is super smooth without feeling heavy or cakey on my skin. One of the biggest things I like is that it doesn’t settle into or emphasize my fine lines and wrinkles like some foundations do. I’ve worn the 128 by itself and also paired it with the Maybelline Super Stay 24H Powder in 130 on top, and I LOVE how well the two work together. They blend really nicely and give me a smooth, finished look without making my skin feel weighed down. I’ve tried several foundations trying to replace my old CoverGirl makeup, and this is definitely the closest I’ve found so far. I’m really happy with it and will definitely keep using it!

I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION! I have dry skin and always do my skin care routine prior to putting on my makeup. I have curated a routine that keeps me hydrated and plays well with ALL makeup. I have been wearing Haus Labs Triclone foundation for years, but my skin is fairer than it normally is (I live in the desert and am inside all Summer) and figured I'd try this foundation as opposed to trying to figure out my new shade in Haus Lab's 65 shade options (they have a VERY confusing skin tone format). I found 118 perfect for my light/neutral skin tone. This foundation is JUST AS GOOD as any foundation you can find in Sephora. I have tried SO many foundations, and this goes on smoothly, covers well, and like the Triclone, keeps a skin-like finish. I will say that it dries down quickly so there is not a lot of time for placement. Do not pump this on your face and blend section at a time (NOBODY should be pumping foundation on their face) because it dries fast. I pump two pumps it into my hand, dip my brush in and work section at a time, then repeat the process till my face is covered. This LASTS ALL DAY, doesn't budge once it's dried, and withstands sweat, the heat, and a full day of activities. I would say this reminds me of a combination of Triclone Foundation and Estee Lauder Double wear. The LUMI-MATTE finish is muah! CHEF'S KISS. Since I use a moisturizing skin care routine, oftentimes a luminous foundation can be too much glow for my taste. Then I have to powder more heavily than I like, then it's too matte and I need to use a hydrating setting spray and lumi blush. It's a vicious cycle. This dries and has a soft, illumination to it but it also dries to be a matte finish. How? IDK! I end up powdering ONLY where I use concealer and this gives me that perfect finish I am after. This NEVER ends up being too luminous for me. I think anyone can pull this foundation off, oily or dry. I think this would be AWESOME for oily skin people who want to wear a lumi foundation but can't without over-powdering the face. They probably need to make more shades of this line because as it stands, there aren't enough to cover every skin tone, and they need to. I predict that this, along with the Super Stay Skin Tint, will be a part of Maybelline's permanent collection. I used to use the Eraser foundation for years, but this is much better as it stays put ALL DAY LONG. I'm so glad I tried this as it has become my go-to foundation I wear everyday now. If you have dry skin, do not skip your moisturizing routine prior to wearing this as I could foresee it becoming patchy and dry looking. For oily skin people, I think a grippy primer like Elf Power Grip or Maybelline Grippy primer would work well under this. I have Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip and I haven't tried it with that yet, but I will and follow up with my results! Maybelline and L'oreal have been killing it lately! They keep this up and I won't ever have to step into a Sephora again!

I’ve used this for about a year now and it’s pretty good! It has decent coverage, but I always blend concealer on top of it to cover any extra blemishes or red spots. The only downside is that the color match isn’t the greatest and makes me look a little orange in some lighting. If you have any dry patches on your face, it can look patchy. The bottle lasts me 6+ months though, so it’s worth it for the price you pay!

This is the foundation that ended my search. Genuinely. Prepare for the yap I am about to serve. I was looking for a new lightweight natural-finish foundation for the longest, having only used the Armani Luminous Silk for the past 2 years and the Estee Lauder Double Wear (Original Formula) before that. What I find is that no matter how much I try to thin those out for a more natural look, they always ended up feeling slightly heavy and powdery, which gives it that cakey look. I am in my early 20s and have dry and textured skin, especially during the winter. I get dry patches on my cheeks and a bit oily on my nose sometimes. I've tried everything, using a hydrating primer, moisturizer, setting spray, etc, but it never gave me the finish that I wanted. So during the Sephora Sale this year, I got a few new options to try, including the DIOR Backstage Face & Body Foundation which I was told was more runny and thin if I wanted the lightweight feel. I compared that against the Lumi Matte a couple of times using a both a sponge and a brush and dare I say, the Lumi Matte ends up being my favourite side both at the start and end of the day. I don't know how to describe it but it is genuinely so lightweight, it feels just like a skin-tint but with a lot more coverage. I bought both the 110 and 112 to mix since I am a light-neutral skin tone and I find that the half and half ratio is perfect. I apply in thin layers using a flat brush and it covered all my acne scars and discoloration. The texture and formula feels really similar to the DIOR Backstage and the coverage and dry down is comparable to that of the Estee Lauder Double Wear. Its mostly matte but still has the inner luminosity and glow that peeks through. If you want a super dewy look, maybe this is not the one for you. But if you want something natural looking and light weight that gives a seamless coverage without emphasizing texture and scarring, then your search ends here. This is it. The cBeauty girls really cooked with this recommendation because this foundation is super popular in Asia. The moment I tried it, I knew the formula was goated, I just needed to mix and find my shade. But hopefully you can find yours without having to mix it. I recommend using a hydrating moisturizer or sunscreen underneath this, and applying it thin layers one section at a time since it sets pretty fast. Anyway, I hope this was helpful!

My go-to foundation. As a person with dark skin, I find this product perfectly matches my shade. It stays in place and effectively covers the scars from ingrown hairs caused by hirsutism due to PCOS. It works so well that I'm reluctant to wash it off at the end of the day because it still looks fantastic even after a full workday, especially if I use the setting spray from the brand. I've tried other foundations, even a few expensive ones sold at Sephora, but I always return to this one. Great product!

This foundation formula is magic! My very textured skin looks so much smoother with this on and it lasts longer than any other foundation I've tried. I have oily acne prone skin that gets dry patches and irritation due to dry climate and tretinoin but this foundation always looks good. Good coverage, and is lightweight. My only thing is that lightest shade 102 isn't quite light enough for me unfortunately especially in the winter, and it can pull a little orange when it oxidizes. I really hope Maybelline can add a few more shades!

This is the best foundation I've ever tried. I got shade 110. I have a very fair neutral skin tone that leans a tad bit more on the yellow side. This foundation is literally my perfect match. It has the perfect finish too. It's matte which is great for my combination/oily skin, but doesn't look flat or dry either because of the lumi effect. I like the natural makeup look, and this foundation makes my skin look flawless without looking like there is cakey foundation on it. At first I tried shade 112 which looked terrible on me. It was a bit orange and too pink for my skin tone. If I hadn't tried this shade I would have thought this foundation was a no go. So glad I ordered 110 instead since it is lighter and warmer. It also lasts throughout the day and doesn't oxidize. Another bonus is that the ingredients are very good compared to most foundations. So happy! Do recommend!
