Cloning System, 20 Slots

I bought two machines first time just winged it didn't really follow instructions and all clones rooted within 5-7 days nice long roots .. Second time with new machine root rot and 9th day small roots on some..first try had em outside is partial sun and had pump suction side on bottom of Cloner with water shooting upwards just make sure you have enough water inside or else it will start to leak out and water will spray too hard.. I noticed I had to position it so the water would mostly hit the plastic part instead of the inserts because the colored inserts don't seem not stay on that tight the black inserts seem to work a lot better... If you follow instructions there just isn't enough water flow to me because what has more water flow and bubbles a water fall or just water shooting out like those water jets in a pool..second time followed directions horrible results root rot and ones that did small roots and it's the 9th day ..

This setup gives me rooted clones in no time flat !... about five days but I leave mine for about seven to nine days.. roots will be to the bottom of the container.. I have transplanted to soil and they don't miss a beat... healthy and no shock symptoms at all... I do use a root tone on the cuttings and let them soak in it for about five minutes and I use a tablespoon of Clone X in the water....... also, after about three days I reposition the airator, sp. little bubble machine.... so that it gets the water churned up in all areas... you don't need to do this but the clones closest to the most bubbles root faster...... I am so happy with the OxyClone that I have purchased another one......... also the best buy I could find..

Within 30 minutes of receiving this machine, I had it operating; it's very easy to set up. I started by placing some hibiscus (3 different varieties) in the machine. Two weeks later, I had roots in excess of 2" on all of the cuttings. I potted these out and they are all doing very well. I read the other reviews of this machine and was surprised at the negative ones. This machine worked so well for me it makes me believe the negative reviews are malicious in nature; notice they don't complain about anything specific but, rather, just say something generally derogatory about it, like "piece of junk" or "not worth the money."This product is the least expensive cloning machine available and it works well; I highly recommend it.

The machine shown seems to be a bit different. I put in my clones and I see very little root so far. I think this design may be lacking in application. I would have made it all the same accept I would have used a pond fogger. They make them small and for low water. If this idea this person had fails I can incorporate one of those and do away with the fish pump power head called a OXY head that this seemingly good design has.

The top came so badly warped that it was not usable. When seated, there was a 1" gap on one corner and 1/2" at another corner. I heated the edges to make the edges curl inwards to grip the edge of the bucket. Extremely poor quality control.The system works. Within 10 days there were roots on my tomato cuttings. By that time the pump's intake screen was plugged.

Only one pump covers one half very well. The other half gets very little oxygen and the clones have less chance to grow roots before root rot takes over. After one run you must clean very well with a bleach solution or else slime will be an issue.

just used it today. it was easy to use just as advertised. the size is perfect for a nice selection of plants. the different color sponges are a great idea for identifying your cuttings by color. waiting to see the results, can't wait.

I tried approx.18 cuttings in my new OxyClone. They have been the Clone about a month & I have lost about half of them. There are no roots on the remaining cuttings. I don't know what I did wrong. I thought I followed the instructions. I plan to try again, but without some guidance I'm afraid I will repeat my error. I will try again.
