Please, let me know what is the difference between model 20638chb vs model d454 ?

The 20638chb comes with the guard, whereas the D454 is just the mandoline

Please can you tell me the thickness of the thinnest cut this can make?

This can cut as thin as the vegetable you are cutting allows. I have cut very thin slices of cucumber. The thickness is changed with a leaver so that it cuts from very thin to about 10mm. This is a really solid item and will last.

Please confirm which blades are supplied with this model

The BR001 comes with a pre-fitted slicing blade that can be replaced, as well as a 'crinkle' blade and two julienne blades. I haven't investigated but suspect that the 'crinkle' blade can't be replaced.It's very well built and is bigger than I expected but really is a professional tool.

Is this the Original Heavy Duty "Bron Mandoline" with stainless steel pusher, 38 blades? Just want to make sure it is a "full option".

The pusher is stainless steel. It does not have 38 blades though you can purchase optional extra blades. Mine came with 10mm & 3mm julienne blades, straight cutter and crinkle cutter. Practice is needed and watch out for the very sharp blades. I use mine frequently and enjoy it. It is heavy duty and should last a lifetime.
