Works great with Raspberry Pi
I used this Yagi antenna with a Raspberry Pi to monitor the soil and air temp in a greenhouse at the far edge of my property. The antenna I was using had a signal, but it wasn't strong enough. This antenna was enough for it to reach my house. The antenna is sturdy and hasn't moved at all in the 6 weeks ive had it up.

Not all it advertises itself to be. In fact its far less.
I purchased this item direct from the OG seller. I found it to be sub par! It appears to not show any directionality associated with a Yagi. Further more home made Yagi's for 2.4Ghz wifi have much smaller elements and it is imperative that the magnetic loop be extremely precise in its placement. Mine arrived with a crooked mag loop. This antenna showed no DB gain associated with a directional antenna either meaning somewhere somehow it is not radiating/ receiving in its elements properly. It showed no discernible difference from a mag loop antenna or a 1/4 wave standard wifi antenna bundled with a router or your motherboard in omni directional signal strength or reception. This is with direct line of sight and no object in the way either. I could only get a signal from a hundred twenty feet away or so when I should be able to get signals around 1/4 mile away or more with direct line of sight and no signal interference just with reception alone.I would avoid this and find a better model to be safe or just build your own so you know its resonating properly for 2.4Ghz. Also on a side note, the vinyl is especially smelly on the fifty ohm coaxial cable.

Comes with hardware for mounting to a pole
This Yagi antenna works great. It's well-built, and looks durable enough to last outdoors for many years. The wired connection to the antenna uses a zip tie for strain relief. This seems a bit janky, so I doubled down on the jankiness and added a bigger zip tie. Everything else looks solid, and I like that the kit includes mounting hardware for putting this on a pole.
