Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls

These bowls are fabulous! I love the rubber nonslip bottom they actually don't slide! Perfect for my use! Highly recommend!!

After years of using heavy ceramic mixing bowls that crack, chip and are difficult to handle I asked myself why not look at stainless steel? Clearly this is a question that I should have asked years ago because these bowls have exceeded my expectations. They are lightweight so easy to handle, they clean easily and I love the high sides which helps limit (I won't say prevent, I'm a messy baker!) the amount of spillage when mixing. The variety of sizes is great too - I have a bowl for every task and they stack easily for storage. I had a pleasant surprise the other day when I realized that they inside of the bowls are marked with measuring lines as well! I really couldn't be happier with these bowls!

I like these mixing bowels a lot. The non-slip silicon is actually quite handy and this is the first set I've had with this feature. The printed measurements are interesting, though not really something I use ever. They do scratch a bit if you use SS whisks (see images), but I have now switched to mostly using silicon, which do not scratch as much. They are easy to clean and have done well in the dishwasher. They store away super easily and fit will in my standard cabinets.

Great sizes

This set of stainless bowls is useful for a zillion purposes in the kitchen, from prep work to marinating meats, to making salads, to bread rising, to making cakes and cookies. The attractive, colorful silicone coating on the bottoms really does grip the surface you’ve placed the bowl on, and in most cases that’s a positive function. My bowls immediately scratched when I used a hand mixer in them, so be aware they won’t maintain their pristine finish in that circumstance. This doesn’t really bother me and I still regard them as workhorses in the kitchen. I recommend them for their colorful, all-purpose utility!

For years I've been using glass mixing bowls, Heavy glass mixing bowls. Finally arthritis in my hands made it almost impossible to get those in and out of the cabinet. So I bought these. I have to admit I wasn't sure if I'd like them when I bought them. Well I absolutely love them. They are light enough to get in and out of the cabinet easily but still sturdy enough to do any job I need them for. And the silicone bases really do keep them from slipping, even when I'm stirring a stiff thick dough. I wish I'd bought them years ago.

These pans are not heavy duty, but are fine for my mixing purposes. Yes, they show scratches from metal utensils which I do use from time to time, but that doesn't change their usefulness to me. I really like the silicone bottoms! The colors are fun plus the bowls stay put when being used. I do think the size gap between the two largest bowls is strange and wish there was a size between those two, but again, they are doing what I need them to do!
