This product works very well and I have reordered many times.

My sleep quality has been challenging the past year. I've tried everything from going offline and avoiding blue light in the evening before bed, I started working out, meditation, dietary changes, and I've even forced all nighters all in the name of a better nights sleep. Even as someone who prefers a holistic and natural approach to their problems, I was desperate enough to try Ambien but quickly stopped because it left me feeling like my brain was "fried" the following day making it difficult to function. While Melatonin in tablet form was one of the first things I tried, the over the counter 10mg tablets and their effectiveness to me seemed to slide into the realm of.. "is it just a placebo effect, do these even do anything?".After being recommended by a family member to explore the liquid alternative however, I got this. I was skeptical, so in spite of the suggested approach of beginning with a lower dosage I took a full 10mg dose. "Bombs away!" I thought. Almost immediately I felt a visceral response and was quickly lulled into a sense of tiredness I tend to experience right after waking up, struggling not to fall back asleep. It's probably the best sleep I can get and I never need more than a 5mg dosage. I was so impressed with the response I get from these liquid melatonin drops I ordered liquid magnesium to pair for some of the best sleep I've had in ages. It definitely responds gently and isn't nearly as abrupt if you add the droplets to your tea, which is what I've been doing.I'm definitely a fan and will continue to purchase this product in the future.

I like the product. It seems to work consistently (though I have not done double blind studies) and the flavor is OK. However, the bottle leaks. When traveling, there is no way to guarantee that the bottle will remain upright. And even in my bed-stand drawer, where I keep the bottle approximately upright (it's too narrow to fit the bottle fully upright), it leaks from the occasional bumps, so the outer surface develops a sticky skin. I've tried tightening it really hard, and at the other extreme by making it snug and not fully tightened under the assumption that perhaps I was deforming the rubber parts. But still leaks.This is not an isolated incident but has happened in most of the bottles I have used. My remedy is to wrap the bottle in a tissue and keep it in a plastic zip-lock baggie. Over time the tissue gets gently soaked in red, but I keep the bottle in the bag when removing the eyedropper for a dose.Can you guys make the bottles not leak?

I ran out of this a few months ago and ordered a substitute. I don’t think I’m imagining this, I slept really badly every night. I didn’t have this brand.

Solgar melatonin is the absolute best. I take it 30 minutes before I want to sleep under my tongue and I fall asleep which is a miracle because I’m a poor sleeper! I’ve tried every brand out there and none can compare to Solgar. The taste is great. They ship it with care and the dropper works perfectly. I always make sure I have an extra bottle on hand. I don’t get nightmares from this like I did with other brands. If I wake up I take a few more drops. I don’t wake up groggy and I am so thankful for a melatonin that tastes good and works!
