They literally turn ev-ery-thing some shade of red. Literally no blue—or any other colours—gets through. Just about any lightly tinted lenses will pass the blue flashlight test, but these truly block it. You won't see anything but red, and you won't be mad about it.It definitely discourages from using tech while wearing them because it's very strange, and any coloured tint adds some darkening contrast by nature so it makes it harder to make things out also.
