Very High Quality Pieces and Box
This game far surpasses my expectations. It is super high quality - the box is more sturdy than typical board game boxes. All of the pizza slice boards and the spinner are all very thick and durable. The magnetic pepperonis were just icing on the cake!I was honestly expecting my kids to not care for it much, and I'd just donate it to one of my children's classrooms, but we'll definitely be keeping this until the kids grow out of it. My kids thought it was so fun and wanted to play multiple rounds. They thought the "burnt pepperoni" piece was hilarious. I much prefer playing this game with my kids than other board games that are too complicated or take forever just moving along a path... and best of all, they're using their brains to do quick math.My only negative remark is that the directions in the box could use more work (so I took away one star - otherwise I'd leave it at 5 stars). They're worded a bit complicated or say things that don't make sense. Like under the "Burnt Pepperoni" description it says, "Place the Burnt Pepperoni on any number on your pizza slice. If you already have one, move it to the next available number." The box only comes with 1 burnt pepperoni piece... the directions even say it only comes with one under the "what's included" list. It also says that if you spin the spinner, and it lands on numbers 1-5, "Choose a pepperoni with a math problem matching a number on your pizza slice. Solve the problem to place the pepperoni on your slice." I had to read that several times, and it still didn't seem to make sense the way it was worded... the way we ended up playing was picking a pepperoni who's sum/difference matched the number on the slice... which I think was their intention, but it's just worded funky. Then, I was reading through the Amazon listing again and noticed in the description it says that the "Wild Pepperoni" allows you to steal a pepperoni from another person's pizza... but nowhere in the directions included in the box does it say that... it just says "Wild Pepperoni: Pick any color pepperoni that matches a number on your pizza slice."Other than those few things, this game is excellent. The quality of the pieces is top-notch, even my kids mentioned how nice everything was.

A surprising, educational success in my household!
I was hoping that a fun topic (food/pizza) would help cover up the fact that the game was educational and it does! My 6-year old has really enjoyed the game and the arithmetic level is perfect for early 1st Graders. The numbers are not too big to be overly difficult and it provides a great sense of accomplishment when they get the answers correct. Definitely recommend this be added to any family's game night collection!

Good game
This is pretty fun and educational! The kids spend a while playing with these - and great that it's food-themed which get the kids even more interested. The magnet is a great idea because it helps the pieces stick together better. Overall, well made!

Great for my burgeoning math nerd!
Our four year old fell in love with the Numberblocks and yearns to do math--but he also yearns to interact. Thus, when I saw this game, I knew it was for our family (an admittedly nerdy family that loves family games). The game comes in a lovely, presentable box and consists of a few slices of pizza, a spinning wheel, and sheets of small math equations that you pop out to prepare for play. There is a simple list of instructions on the inside of the box and you're off to playing in no time! While my son is still learning the nuances of winning/losing, he is definitely loving the mathing of this game. There's a good variety of "matheroni" pieces, providing a variety of equations--to include addition and subtraction--for little ones to learn about. The spinner is high-functioning/well-built and the game play lasts just the right amount of time for our dude's patience. Whether your little learner is actively interested in math or resistant to math, this game is engaging and fun, appropriately age-targeted and a really great alternative to watching a screen!

This game is a win-win!
This is a winner for the 1st grader! She says she's "good at math" and I want to keep that momentum going. I'm also trying to incorporate some fun into learning because this is a transitional age where they go from fun all the time to serious schoolwork. There is a lot of research between fun and education. There's also a lot of research showing that the best way to learn something is to teach it. Her sister is 4 1/2, so I figured this would also be a good bridge game between the two ages. I know the older sister will only compound her learning by teaching her younger sibling while playing the game. The item itself is like others have stated- great quality. The pieces are solid and the spinner works well. We have lots of board games and sometimes the pieces are cheap and not very sturdy and will wipe clean easily. I know this because I gave her the game on a night when we ordered pizza, so it almost became a party. Imagine getting kids to learn while also feeling like they're at a party?! This game is a win-win.
