They are thinner than my Auralex panels and not as absorbing.
First, these have absolutely no adhesion on them. I used a spray glue to attach them to a foam core board. I chose a black color board to make them less visible. They are way cheaper then Auralex and thinner (about half as thick). They don't absorb as much sound as an oralex panel does, but being cheaper and putting up lots of them I have achieved the sound conditioning I was looking for. I am converting a reflective bedroom into a voice-over studio. If the panels were perfect, the room would be too flat. By using enough of them and in the right places, I was able to deaden the room enough. You want to have some life in the room or it will sound ominous. Spray glue is pricey about eight bucks a can and you can get about 5 or 6 panels made up of six foam squares. I then used 3M command strips with fake Velcro. One sticks to the foam core panel the other to the wall. That way I can easily remove them with minimal damage to the walls. bottom line, if you're going to use these less expensive panels, you'll need more and you'll have to be careful as to where you place them.

Beats Nothing
These things are extreme overpriced for some reason. Not just with this seller, but everywhere. They do a better job blocking out my neighbor’s insufferable kids and yelling wife than a bare window, though. It’s just too much money for not enough value. I don’t know how they get off charging that much, but here we are. Regardless, If you need something that kinda does an alright job sort of at blocking out the noise, it ain’t gonna get much cheaper. This truly is a product where it’s designers and suppliers do a half @ssed job to get all the money. I wouldn’t hate the hustle if I could do it. Id just hate myself for bilking people for a product that’s worth about half this much money.

Average at best
You get a lot for the money but these are not even close to being even an inch thick as far as noise canceling it’s average cause their so thin your better off spending a little more and getting thicker ones

Exactly what I orderrd
I haven't finished my install yet but I can already hear the difference in the rooms acoustics. I'm pretty sure that this will get the job done. Did the math this was the best value for my money.

Great deal for the money! Protect your ears from washy sound reflections!
I came from using blankets and towels and pillows in my basement, so this was a huge step up for me. The installation worked out pretty well, although I had to use hot glue to hang them because my spray adhesive was absorbed right into the back, and all in all hanging them took me about 4 hours over the course of 5 or 6 days. Velcro also does a decent job of holding them, which is nice. They made my basement so much nicer to play in. No more ringing in my ears after rehearsal. Good stuff.

Nice acoustic foams that do their job
Have been using these acoustic foams for the past year and they still are holding pretty great. Would recommend it for anyone who's looking to improve sound quality, plus it gives a nice look to your space. Would recommend using a good double side tape to attach to the walls.

Not even an inch
Barely makes up half an inch thick. Cut to thin from manufacturer's. Great price for what you get. I bought two packs, and I wont even use it for what it was intended for. Maybe I can make a homeless person a bed out of this cheap junk. No adhesive. Not true to dimensions. Not worth the hassle, move along! Your welcome fellow musicians.
