I read the reviews before purchasing, reading the pros and cons of buying this type of mattress. I went to a local mattress store and tried out their "hybrid" mattresses, not telling them I was sizing it up for an online purchase. This was significantly cheaper than buying from the stores in town. I read one gentleman's review that gave me the confidence to give it a try. He raved about how great the mattress was and would return to give updates along the way to inform whether it was only a quality mattress in the beginning and if it depreciates along the way type entries. I am happy to say, "that guy was spot on" - it's a great mattress. Yes it is a little different than regular mattresses - if you are trending to always sit on the very edge of the mattress (not fully with your knee and butt area all on the bed) you will feel what you think is a weakness and it's not firm (I assume this is normal, as the local store hybrid mattress was the same way...). You have to literally sit fully in the bed with your knees right up the mattress before sitting down to avoid this. Once you are in the bed it's amazing - it is not weak by any means, it is extremely comfortable. I have a bad back - birth defect - have had to sleep in a recliner for the last few years. This is the FIRST mattress that I can actually sleep on and still walk the next morning - I have thanked God nightly upon lying down because of the relief and comfort this mattress offers me. I primarily sleep on my side with some back positioning at times. My husband sleeps on his side/back/stomach and he likes the mattress also. We could not sleep in the same bed because of our varied preferences and needs in a mattress. We got the wild idea to buy 2 xl twin mattresses and put them together to build the king bed. It's PERFECT, we don't wake one another up moving around, can get in/out of the bed without disturbing the other one etc. My need for a firm/softer mattress and his need for a firmer/not as soft as my preference mattress was met in this one mattress selection -it's literally the BEST mattress we have ever slept on. HIGHLY recommend this particular mattress. ***I bought 3 xl twin mattresses - one for me/husband for the king bed and one for my elderly 85 yr old mother who said her back was hurting with the old mattress. We are all three very happy with our selection of this hybrid mattress that arrived in a box haha That alone scared me - arriving in a box? Who would have thought it would turn out to be such a godsend for us all? **NOTE: I was prepared to buy whatever mattress type I needed and whatever my husband needed - which is partially why we went to the mattress shop to test out all of the mattress types in person. I anticipated us to have different mattresses due to our history of hating the other one's preferences for a mattress...amazingly we both ended up liking the same mattress in the store over all other high-end mattresses (the hybrid won us both). I would have to say - this is a HIGH-END mattress as it definitely met the criteria of consumer satisfaction - which should be the ruling element in determining what is "high-end" and what is not.

I didn’t know a mattress could be so life changing. I’m in my 60s with some arthritis in my hips and shoulders. I also struggle with back pain issues. I am a reformed stomach sleeper as I know that’s tough on my back. I have been sleeping on a Nest Alexander Signature medium firm for 8 years. I actually thought it was fine until I tried this. This is soft yet supportive. As soon as I lay down I feel instantly comfortable and ready for sleep… even on my back which is wonderful. I weight about 155 and am 5’ 9” for reference. It truly feels like heaven to me. I’m glad I spent a day if my life researching mattresses and choosing this Update…still loving this mattress. I added the bamboo cooling topper also found on Amazon (not a foam topper….i find those to be hot) and a cervical neck pillow (shaped like a butterfly). I was uncomfortable for a couple of nights with the pillow, but once my body adjusted I now sleep through the night without tossing and turning and I sleep on my back. Very very pleased with this mattress.

I want to start by saying I have smelt on this mattress for a month now and my only regret is that I can't buy one for my mother yet. I researched beds for weeks prior to choosing this one. It was literally driving me insane towards the end of the search because it seemed like every bed I would find (in the hybrid memory foam department) would have some kind of fatal flaw that made the price seem untenable. However, after finding the naplab website, I came to realize (after reading dozens of reviews and watching videos and reading customer reviews) that Dreamcloud had the highest approval-to-value ratio of any of the products being offered in the hybrid group by far. Upon ordering it and receiving it, I opened it up. It still amazes me how a bed this thick could be compressed that much. The moment I opened it, it sprung into shape. I let it sit for most of the day but the thickness didn't change after that first thirty minutes, so I knew it wasn't still expanding into shape. And let me tell you....that first night of sleep, and every night since, has truly been a dream. This is a expertly crafted item that has a quality that far exceeds the amount paid. The softness of the mattress cover, alone, makes this ideal to sleep on with or without sheets (I sleep with sheets, but I know people who don't). The edge support is superior and it contours to the body in such a wonderful way. I can finally sleep on my side again and I don't wake up with any kind of discomfort or find myself moving around much. It just hugs your body. Give it a week to really start to adjust to your body and you won't regret it! One of my main concerns was heat, since memory foam tends to retain it, but this bed stays nice and cool. I paired the mattress purchase with some cooling bamboo sheets and a cooking comforter and let me tell you ...it has been bliss. I can't rare this bed highly enough. After agonizing over which mattress to purchase for almost a month, it feels so good to know I made a choice that not only didn't break the bank, it didn't break my back either. This bed is a game changer and should cost at least $500 more than it does. Thanks Dreamcloud!

Very surprised and pleased at how comfortable this mattress is! A great value with high quality.

This mattress is terrible. I thought it would expand more so I patiently let it sit in my 78 degree room. I watched and waited. It still resembled a hammock. Firm on the edges and sagging in the center. I decided to have an open mind and settled in with my husband to try and sleep on it. It was like the g force you feel will riding on a carnival ride. I could not pull my self away from him as we sagged in the middle. This was a sweaty unpleasant experience for a middle aged and menopausal woman. I had never considered that a mattress so highly regarded on the fancy television adds would be such a nightmare. I warn anyone to think twice before purchasing this. I will go back to my previous 8 year old mattress. I thought it was worn out but after sleeping on this bed I think I can make it another 5 years with it.

This one of thest mattress I have seen. Moderately firm which good for silde sleeper and provide good back support. Noise levels zero and no wakeups during sleep.
