Vacuum Mattress Bag for Memory Foam and Latex - Sealed for Easy Movement, Transport and Storage (Queen/Full/Full-XL)

Worked great for packing up and storing an extra full size memory foam mattress. Compressed it down completely and sealed up, but glad it included the lashing straps to secure it compressed during a long storage. Good price point and even if I only need to use it once, it was well worth it.

I used this bag to move my memory foam mattress and it worked even better than I expected. The material is thick and durable—no tearing while sliding the mattress in. Vacuuming took a little longer, but it shrank the mattress significantly. When the zipper is fully pressed and sealed, there’s no air leakage, and the straps are really helpful for keeping the bag secure. Make sure to press the zipper firmly; otherwise, the vacuum effect isn’t as strong. Very thick mattresses (over 14 inches) may not compress as much. Verdict: Practical, reliable, and makes moving a mattress much easier. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with bulky memory foam or latex mattresses. Note: Keep away from your cats. The bag works really well, just need a good vacuum that can soak up the air. You would need a second person to help get the air out and wrap the plastic bag. Great kit inside.

I ordered this for a 5” twin foam mattress I pull out for kids sleep overs. Initially it worked so I thought and even when it re-expanded overnight I thought, “ok user error” and tried again. This time when it again did not hold I thought “ok bad apple, I’ll reorder”. Amazon sent me a replacement before I sent back the defective one. I tried the new one and to my surprise there were AUDIBLE holes in it when I stopped vacuuming. I couldn’t believe it. I easily found them, and, Since it was Christmas and I was trying to get this mattress out of the way, I tried taping the holes with duct tape on top of clear plastic tape, then tried it again. It just doesn’t work. Air crept in. After trying two different bags (same exact product) I have come to the conclusion that it does not work bc the bags arrive comprised. Will return and try a different brand.

We used this on our Zinus 10” Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress (Amazon), plus a foam topper. The instructions were clear, the bag was well made and sturdy, and the zipper worked effectively. Note: the zipper took some time to fully seal - make sure both tracks on the zipper are completely sealed all the way down the seam (this will seem like it takes a while but it’s important). We used a shop vac to suction the air out, and the air hole was placed on the top of the mattress, with the hose pressed directly against the plastic and mattress. The only reason I docked a star was the misleading instructions: they said it wouldn’t take more than 20 minutes, and if it did, it was leaking somewhere. Well, it took us over 3 hours to get the mattress flattened and there were zero leaks. However it did work! The final width of our 10” (+ foam topper) mattress is about 2.5-3”. It is very stiff once the air is removed, and it took three of us to effectively roll it and strap it with the included straps. (We rolled it on the long side .). The final diameter rolled up is 12”, and it’s 66” long (if you are trying to figure out how much space it will take up when finished). I would definitely recommend/ purchase this again. Just be ready to spend some time with the activity (we ultimately propped up the shop vac hose so we didn’t have to sit there for 3 hours locked in).

I used this to compress a memory-foam mattress. It reduced to about 1/4 its normal size. I was able to roll the compressed mattress, which made it a lot easier to carry and store. It did not re-inflate in the 6 months it was in storage. When I uncompressed it, the mattress was back to normal. It's rather a miracle product. It was undamaged, so I put it away to use again sometime. This product cannot be used to compress a water bed since water is mostly un-compressible. Just so you know.

Have a TwinXL 14" memory foam mattress. The bag was snug for this size for sure, so snug I didn't think it was going to fit at first. The bed wasn't flat in the bag, it actually had a bow in it to make it fit. I used a high powered shop vac to compress it. It does shrink it 80% the thickness but for sure not what the picture shows. I tried rolling it myself to put the belts on it and that wasn't happening. You will for sure need two people to make this work. I'm waiting for my step son to come over and maybe walk on the bed as I vacuum to see if we can get it down more and have him help me roll it up. I give it a three because it does compress up to 80% but, which I should have known better, it does not look like the pic when done or when you first got your mattress when you first got it in the box. Can be done but you will need help, not a one person job.
