Party Tyme Kids Songs 16-song G

Bought for my granddaughter & she loves it!

we LOVE this. we don't even use it as karaoke. we play it and our grand daughter loves just singing along to herself while dancing to this. we've played it so many times we have it memorized. this is terrific background music for the kids while playing.

This review is for BOTH the Party Time Karaoke Kids Songs -- Disc 1 and Disc 2:The disc is in CD-G format which means that in addition to playing music, it also gives you the graphics on a screen -- providing you have your karaoke machine hooked up to a TV or monitor of some sort.The songs are pretty good and are lively and energetic. They even tell you what musical key each song is in should you want to play along with it. This disc only has instrumental tacks, though -- NO vocals at all. Some other discs out there will provide you with two versions of every song. This disc does not do that. If you are unfamiliar with a song, you may have difficulty trying to sing along. The benefit of having both the vocal and instrumental tracks is that you can sing along with the vocals, get comfortable with the song, and then try your hand at it without the vocal support.The graphics for this disc are merely the words. There are no additional fun images to go along with the songs as some discs have. (i.e., some Disney Karaoke discs)So far, the only complaint I have is that some of the songs have a pretty fast tempo to them. Some may find this good, others, like me, think it makes it difficult for younger kids to sing along with and keep up. Even the "Alphabet Song" (on disc 1 only) clips along too quickly for our younger son to keep up. Some songs have had the words changed slightly from the traditional lyrics that we all grew up with. Again, the "Alphabet Song" is an example of this. Instead of the normal lyrics, "...now I know my A B C's, next time won't you sing with me?" They've been changed. This may throw kids off when they read different lyrics than what they're used to singing.Because of the fast tempo of the songs and the changing of standard lyrics, I gave this disc four stars.

This was a hit for my granddaughters birthday party. She is 6 years old.

This CD only has the music and no kids singing in the background. My kids are still young, so they need the guidance to sing along. Other karaoke CDs we have do it both ways.

Great collection of children songs. My son really loves them, and is taking time to read the words on the screen.

This was the perfect karaoke CD for my 3 little girls. It is so cute watching them sing along to the songs even I got into it and I can't carry a tune in a bucket!

This would had been great if the vocals was included. I don't know some of these songs. So my 6 yr was disappointed when he didn't know the song and could really keep up with the lyrics.

My grand daughter of 7 years tried it out.Lost interest very quickly.No option to have lyrics which would have helped her through the songs'Only one or two songs she knew by heart

good for kids aged5-8. my 5 year old loves to sing along
