I ordered the one with the red roses and got it padded. I get lots of compliments on it. I personally run very warm so the padding wasn't needed as much as I thought; when I buy another I won't get the padding.The only negatives so far for me have been that I measured myself and I was a few inches smaller than the largest sizes measurements and it still fits just a bit tight around the back and when sitting. Also the lining of the pocket suddenly tore a hole that gets bigger when gently touched; I plan on sewing it back up.Overall I love this jacket. It keeps me more than warm, it looks stylish, and I love the variety of designs you can order. It's exactly what I was expecting. A light material that isn't very warm. Good for spring and summer time. The sizes are different so take extra care to properly size yourself according to their chart, not Amazon's chart. And be sure to consider you'll be wearing a shirt underneath, as you'll need a larger size than just measuring yourself while shirtless. For reference, I measured my chest to be about 46", so I went with the Large/44 which, according to their chart, has a 48" chest. The colors in the product picture are definitely way more vibrant than in person, but it still looks good. As usual with these types of pieces it's a bit tighter than you'd expect. I'm a slender guy 6ft 165lbs who rarely wears anything thicker than a t-shirt so this is no problem for me. I prefer form fitting clothing items anyway. If you are looking for more breathing room definitely size up. Still, for the price, I like it.My added picture isn't really true to in-person color either. Basically the orange has more of a red hue, and the blue is a much darker/muted blue.
