I bought this to help move and transfer my Mom when she was bed bound and couldn't move herself at all. Once you roll the patient over and put this item under the bed pads it becomes so easy to roll her to the side or pull her up or re position her on the bed. I was the only one so it works great when there is only you doing all the work. The multiple handles really make it easy to transfer and the pad itself is very well made and durable. I highly recommend.

Sadly my husband is currently on Home Hospice. He has terminal brain cancer. He is 6'3 and about 200lbs and I am 5'-nothing. He is completely bed bound, and cannot sit up, or roll over without help. Since I already have some serious back issues, I was struggling with these tasks, as well as things like doing a complete sheet change with him still in the bed (involves a lot of rolling and also hauling hubby back up the bed, as he will slowly slide down and end up with his legs all uncomfortable) This patient slider mat is AWESOME! It is nice and thick, so I do not need to worry about the linens underneath. The four handles (one each corner) are super strong and so well made. I can fold the pad around hubby and use the handles to roll him, or be at the head of the bed, and use the handles to pull him up in bed. No more "dragging" him under his poor armpits - just an easy pull-and-slide motion to move him. The pad is extremely well made with a lot of underside reinforcing from sewn in webbing, and it also washes well. I will update this review after using it for a longer period of time. But I am just SO impressed, and I was SO desperate before .... I hope this review is of benefit to others in a similar situation ..... so far I could not be happier!!

Good size made fairly well, inexpensive. Great for turning elderly in the bed when it’s difficult to do so without injuring the fragile frame. Wonderful tool to transfer and readjust. I thought I bought the one with 6 handles and my brother simply suggested to put on an angle and sure enough it works amazingly. When elevating my mom higher up on the bed (since I can’t get her bum at the crease of the bed where she needs to be, I have to pull her up from the head of the bed and this product is so sturdy it works wonderfully.

Really sturdy. Strong handles. Extremely easy to use. It makes it easy to move anyone around on a bed, or two people can easily move a person from bed to wheelchair, etc. Very comfortable under a person for long periods of moving from place to place. Easy to clean. Folds up flat for quick storage when not needed. Honestly, this makes our lives so much easier.

Perfect size to use with my power chair to transfer to bed.

Bought this to put under my Dad who is on a medical bed and lacks mobility. It has been such a useful tool and allowed us to more easily shift him in the bed when needed. Cleaning is simple so we can use it every day. Handles are very sturdy so we don't worry about it ripping.
