Picked up a few sets of these for our kid. I had reasonable expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. They far exceeded all expectations. Tons of fun, and have worked great for us so far indoors and even outside on sunny days. Couldn't be happier, and plan on buying more.

My family loves this game. The pistols are equal in performance to the rifles in every way. We usually play outside at night and have found only one short coming. The display on them are very bright and make it difficult to aim and see unless you use your other hand to cover it. Super Fun is almost an understatement.

We were introduced to these at a birthday party held at a fun center. They had a dark room and 4 of these out for open play. These were being used unsupervised by staff so who knows what kind of rough play they had stood upto in that environment. Kids 5-10 or so were figuring these out on their own and my own kid liked it too. That inspired me to gift them to my nephew and I got it as a gift for my boy just this Xmas. He's an only child but has been playing with dad and enjoying them inside the house happily. I think they'll get good use when friends come over too. They are very easy to use and function as designed. They seem durable too. Your health is clearly shown with an indicator light and refilling your ammo is easy with a button on the bottom of the handle. You can also choose a team if using multiple sets of them or go individual play by setting them to different teams. They'll come with straps for a phone intended to some how work with an app but the small print says the app isn't available after 2020 soooo...not sure why they still include the straps. No matter for a kid who doesn't have a phone anyway but a bit confusing if that's something you had interest in.

These blasters are really great. The app integration is great, if you choose to use it. Also contrary to what many reviews say you CAN control the blaster's volume level from the app. For the price this is really alot of fun for your buck.2 small gripes not worth taking a star for:A: The 2 pack DOES NOT come with the blaster phone attachment and as of now it doesn't seem like it can be purchased separately. Without the attachment the single player AR game is not very fun or engaging. Also there is at least one power up that is unlocked by way of said AR single player game.B: The 2 pack is cheaper than the single blaster. Makes no sense. EDIT: *\Seems like this is just an Amazon thing; one gun is ~$30 from Nerf's site.All in all, well done Nerf; I'm particularly surprised that the app is as good as it is.

I had given a lot or research on laser tag and I'm glad I went this route. the deltaburst is definitely the better of the two blasters but getting two guns for the same cost is reasonable. they are ready to play out of the box (just make sure you put batteries in) as in you don't NEED a smartphone. there are three ways you can go about this...play the game without a smart phone, have one person link everyone in to one smart phone to start a game and get a scoreboard. or everyone links it to their own smartphone to track others by GPS, get power ups, and add an extra layer to the game. my only negative of this series is they don't have rails to ass red dots or laser sights. given that these are the most accurate blasters you can buy (I mean laser guns in general) it would make sense to make your guns compatible with sights. but if you mod this isn't a problem.

*Same price as Walmart and Target now!This Laser Tag set is amazing! Even my adult children want to buy a set. Love the option to play with or without the app. Although the app adds a lot to the experience. Long range, I think 250 foot and great at reflecting through mirror and windows, ect. All the thrill of laser tag without the drive and cost. Great purchase for youth groups as you can link a whole lot of guns and play.

Right up front, this isn't the same as buying the single blaster by itself. there is a "Single Player" attachment that this pack DOES NOT COME WITH. If you buy the single blaster or the rifle, you will get that attachment, but not with this one. And Nerf does not sell that attachment by itself either. If you don't plan on using the phone then it's fine and works great, it's one of the better laser tag guns I've bought in awhile. That said, I was really hoping to try out the full experience and feel jipped that I now have to buy a whole other blaster just to get that one attachment. Is this cheaper than buying two single Alpha Points? Yes, but only because they removed parts so you don't get what you would think.

I wasnt able to download the app because it seems not to be available outside usa but all my kids love this. Gun seems pretty accurate with good distance and battery seems to last a couple of hours at least. I have kids between 7-12 who all enjoy it. Mine did come with wrist bands. Only had it for a few days and seems to be made sturdy like Nerf does with their other guns. The noise is a bit allowed but seems like can be adjusted with app ...if you can download it.

These were the hit of Christmas at our house this year. They work very well both indoors and outdoors. The companion app is free and very well done, we had loads of fun playing with friends and family. We got 2 sets (4 guns total) which meant we could have some 2 vs 2 games, which the kids love!The only thing that is not obvious is that you need a separate adapter to mount your phone on the gun to play the single player mode, which does not seem to be sold separately. You need to buy a different gun that has the adapter included.
