Caffeine irritates my stomach, so I can’t have any caffeinated drinks. This gum has really helped when I need a little boost of energy. Texture is much better than others I’ve tried too.

I decided to try the First Energy Gum variety pack, always looking for a quick and portable way to get a little energy boost without relying on coffee or sugary drinks. This pack includes both Fresh Mint and Sweet Mint flavors. The gum definitely lives up to its fast-acting claim. Each piece has 40mg of caffeine, and I found that chewing one or two pieces gave me a noticeable lift fairly quickly. It's great for those times you feel an afternoon slump coming on, or need a bit of extra focus for work or a drive. The mint flavors are refreshing, especially the Fresh Mint, and they last a reasonable amount of time while chewing. The biggest pro here is the portability. These small packs fit easily into a pocket or bag, making them super convenient for on-the-go alertness. However, a significant drawback for me is the heavy use of artificial sweeteners. It contains a mix including sorbitol, isomalt, xylitol, sucralose, and maltitol. While it keeps the calories low and it's sugar-free, be aware that ingesting maltitol, among other sugar alcohols, can potentially cause digestive discomfort in some people if consumed in larger quantities. Also, a practical note: these tend to melt in the car if you park in direct sunlight, so be mindful of where you store them. Overall, if you're seeking a fast, sugar-free, and discreet caffeine boost, this First Energy Gum is a pretty solid option for convenience. Just be mindful of the artificial sweeteners and how your body reacts to them, and avoid leaving them in a hot car.

This is probably the best energy gum that I have found. It keeps its flavor for much longer than our brands and doesn’t become hard to chew. I would definitely recommend this gum to everyone.

Flavor wasnt bad, texture was meh and the flavor started overwhelming strong and died down pretty quickly
