Q: Which pound rating do you recommend that I purchase for a pantry door? I want it to hold shut but be easy enough to open.

20 pound. That is exact purpose we used them for. We have a sneaky cat that could open them, now he can't, but we can!!!

Q: Do these magnets hold 20 lbs each, or 20 lbs total for the 4?

Did not check with a gauge but they are stronger than most magnetic latches I have seen. I would say it refers to each when it says 20 lbs.

Q: Can this be used on wooden kitchen cabinets?

I think it should be ideal for that purpose, so long as you have a surface perpendicular to the door that is solid and you can screw the larger magnetic part on. Usually I'd think the front wall of a kitchen cabinet is solid wood sufficient to screw it onto. Relatively easy to install, too.

Q: Would these work for drawers?

Yes, they could work very well to keep drawers closed.
