WF-8930/50NPB RV Power Distribution Center 30 or 50 AMP AC Panel for Camper

I bought this panel to install on a 2012 GulfStream camper. The old 30 amp panel had major corrosion on the buss bar and numerous issues that led to overheating and nearly caused a fire. I’m not a fan of tandem breakers because they tend to generate more heat between two breakers. Which leads to premature failure and frequent tripping. So, I was searching for a panel that would allow enough spaces for me to install all the breakers needed without the need for tandem breakers. I did have to cut out the inverter from the old housing and install it above instead of below, because there was not enough wire length on the inverter or lugs on the bottom of this panel for a bottom-side connection. This panel is very good quality and “mostly” better than the original panel. I like the pinch inputs for the romex wire. I especially like the extra breaker space. I used a double 30a breaker to jump both buss bars. It’s also priced better than buying a used replacement panel on E-Bay. Things that could be better 1. I prefer #2 square head set screws over Phillips. 2. There are no lights to indicate a 12v fuse failure. This is confusing as to why they gave you a viewing window but no failure lights. 3. There needs to be more lugs for inverter connections. Only having top mount lugs is unfortunate and makes this panel less “universal”. 4. It would be nice to have a panel option that includes an inverter space. 5. It’s good to have tight spades for the 12v fuses but these were so tight that I was bending fuse blades trying to get them inserted. They are “super” tight.

Installed this in my 98 Itasca Suncruiser class A RV i used it in the 30amp configuration until i recently upgraded it to a split phase 240v 50amp system and its works great for that super easy to wire as well.

Great item. I upgraded from a 30amp panel to a 50amp in our 2012 Keystone 38BHDS Travel Travel Trailer. Its a older big 40foot camper and not sure why they only installed a 30amp panel back then when its size definitely needed more so I upgrade because this is our home. With a 3 month old baby girl, me and my wife needed more usable power without any issues. Greatly appreciated, fast shipping and great product.

great cheap alternative. only issue i have with it, is that there are 2 bus bars for the 50amp, which is normal, howwver running at 30 amp, there wasnt a jumper to connect both bus bars together. had to try to stuff 2 10ga wires into one breaker so i could jump to the other bus bar

Bought this for my husband. He plays the guitar in a band and this case is perfect for the holder he uses while playing in the band. He has an iPad Air 13 inch M4 2026.
