Real Damascus Hunting Knife, 10.4" VG10 Bowie Leather Sheath

Nicely packaged, the knife feels good in the hand , solid , smooth , the mosaic pin look very nice, the demascus blade nice with good looking pattern and is sharp. The sheath is a nice design and katches the eye with the stamped pattern and layered leather. I have not used the knife yet , but I will very soon All in all I am happy with the knife , good knife for the price.

I first want to address a potential issue i've seen in other reviews. It seems to be real damascus steel. It definitely has a different steel in the core of the blade. It's hard to know for sure if it's VG10. If you have buffed or sanded away the pattern just apply acid and it will re appear. In my video you can clearly hear the different layers ( volume up in quite room ). There is a bit of an imperfection on the handle as you can see in the photo but that also could indicate that it is genuinely hand forged. I love the detail in the copper and brass tubes "look" in the handle pins. Overall i really do like this knife. It will be a fine addition to my damascus collection. I'm no expert but i think it's real as a posed to being laser etched. You can feel the layers with a fingernail. Mine came sharpened but for some Great value and i think anyone who likes knives would love this piece.

Love it! My brother sharpened it for me because I thought I needed to slice through some scorpions on a hiking trip but good quality knife out of the box and good size + weight. Very happy with the purchase.

Real damascus, despite some people saying it isnt. Its not very high quality damascus, but its the best you can get for what you payed for, so thats a star. Some people were saying it arrived heavily dull, either I got very lucky or the company actually changed their ways due to said reviews, because it was incredibly sharp out of the box for me, so thats a star. The handle is very nice and strong, not full tang but close enough for the price point. Very comfortable hold, and big enough for my hand, which is what matters the most. So thats a star. It feels premium, which is nice, because it isnt. Its definitely one of the better quality knives you can get at this price point, and even comes with a little fake twine line you can tie to the end of a blade for a little hanging loop in case you just want to hang it, which it looks good enough for, so that's a star. The fake leather sheath sucks. It seems $55 dollars went into the blade production and $5 went into the sheath, which I dont think can be a permanent solution to hold this knife. The knife doesnt poke out the end which ive seen some people say it did for them, so I may have gotten lucky again on that aspect, but just sheathing and unsheathing the knife cuts the strap that holds it in. (Which is partially user error but for this price point, I wish the strap would be on the non-sharp side of the blade) So im not going to give that star. Overall, if you want a knife that looks good and is brag worthy, and sharp enough to cut paper easily (if youre lucky), go for it. If you want a heavily reliable, razor sharp, super high quality damascus knife to use as edc or a buck knife, you better start saving up, because you wont find one for this price. Tldr: you get what you paid for and I bet its good enough for what you want from it.

Holy Cow Batman. I got this as a gift, but I'm keeping it. It's freaking gorgeous and feels great in my hand. The VG10 steel is no joke either (used in Japanese knives). The sheath is also super nice, OK, it's faux leather, but still; for the price this is crazy nice. I'm buying a second one to give that gift...

Very nice and sturdy / rugged knife and even though it's beautiful enough to Showcase, I use it around my treed yard often to help with large pruning jobs and cutting through roots. .
