Premium Feel with Real Performance Upgrades
I picked up the PlayStation DualSense Edge Wireless Controller because I wanted something a little more customizable for longer gaming sessions. After using it for a while, I can definitely say it feels like a step up from the standard controller. The first thing you notice is the build quality. It feels solid and slightly more substantial in your hands. The grips are comfortable, and it just has that “premium” feel right away. The adjustable triggers and swappable stick caps are actually useful — especially if you play different types of games. Being able to fine-tune the trigger sensitivity makes a difference in shooters versus racing games. I also like the customizable back buttons. It takes a little time to get used to them, but once you do, they really help with reaction time and overall control. The ability to create different profiles and switch between them is a nice touch too. Battery life is decent, though I will say it doesn’t seem to last quite as long as the standard DualSense. That’s probably the only real downside I’ve noticed so far. Overall, this controller feels like it’s made for someone who plays regularly and wants more control and flexibility. It’s definitely more of an investment, but if you game often, the upgrades are noticeable and worthwhile.

Excellent for any competitive gamer!
Amazing controller. Well worth it for the features it comes with. Be noted that it is slightly heavier than a regular ps5 controller and battery life seems worse than a base controller. The option to remove and replace the thumb sticks is invaluable in the long run and the remapping and customization of buttons and stick dead zones is amazing for competitive gaming. Worth the money if you’re more than a casual gamer.

Quality is Amazing!
Amazing quality! The controller came fast and works really well with easy instructions on how to switch the joy sticks and paddles on the back. If your a gamer i’d say the $200+ price tag is worth for the feel and how much better it’s makes the experience. No stick drift and no faulty buttons. Even better is that if your joystick breaks you can order $20 replacements instead of needing a whole new controller. Amazing product, if you’re a controller gamer I 110% recommend.

Looks Premium, but does it perform like a Premium controller?
Short Answer: Mostly, yes. The Dual Sense Edge is (sort of) an answer to Xbox's Elite Controller. It's about 12% bigger than the standard PS5 Dualsense controller. The FN buttons act as a shortcut to several different profiles that you can customize, there's 4 profile slots, but the default profile cannot changed or removed, so technically 3. You can Adjust the Stick sensitivity/Curve to your liking, or just make it flat out digital(recommend this function a lot, honestly) You can also add two extra shortcut paddles to back of the controller for maximum control and you can remap any button on the controller to your desired preference. You can also adjust game chat and game volume with the FN buttons via the D-Pad. This controller feels perfect in the hands and the swap out sticks is a nice touch, but I can't really say much about swapping them, as I haven't really needed to. Face buttons: They're solid, with the exception of the D-Pad. The D-Pad has this "creaky" feel to it when you press it. It's disappointing that it got like that in less than a month of use and the battery life is not bad. You get about 3 hours of play time with the controller before you need to plug it in. Triggers and the Trigger Stops work well, and are useful for games that don't really need the extra trigger movement (some rpg games, 2D indie games, etc.). Conclusion: I would recommend it, but it's steep price ($200 as of this review) will be a deal breaker for most people.

Best controller Iv ever purchased!
Best controller Iv ever bought! I love it. No drift and if it ends up getting stick drift replace the stick module and you’re good to go! On the PlayStation you can save your button presets or profile so the functions of your buttons can easily be changed so you can go from one game to another without having to go through the setting for each game! It works very well and is quality made! Comes with a case and a power cord that locks into the controller to keep it charged so it doesn’t come out while you play! The back buttons are very nice and is the main reason I bought this controller!

The Edge is just that much better than the standard PS5 controller.
There is NO going back to the standard controller, for any reason. The under-controller buttons, the sticks and their swap-out ability, the various adjustments to trigger distance, and the customizable game button and stick command layouts are game changers. If you break sticks a lot by dropping the controller on the sticks, the stick swap out process is fast and very welcome. The stick replacements were hard to procure initially, but stocks seem better now. It is heavier and it hold a charge substantially less than the standard controller.
