This also makes our clothes damp. I've only had this dehumidifier on for about 24hrs and it has already worked on collecting excess moisture in the air. See picture. It has a low humming sound that can be easily ignored for what it does. We didn't have any problems sleeping last night while it was running. As far as durability, since I just got it, I can't comment yet on how durable it is. Cleaning the reservoir seems straight forward. I haven't had the need to empty it yet but it appears easy enough to pull out the catch basin to dump the water.
