Looks expensive without breaking the bank - Fantastic upgrade to a 20 year old kitchen.
I bought this sink for my wife with the pictured faucet as a birthday gift. Both are Kraus. I, having never installed a kitchen sink, was a little apprehensive about the install. I did all my research and made one trip to Home Depot for the things needed to install (Tail piece extension for plumbing modification, silicone, PVC cutter, Kraus drain cover, plumber's putty and a 5mm underlayment to cover up the water damaged flooring of the cabinet - it's temporary). I also got a new Insinkerator disposal mounting kit with gasket for disposal because the other one was scratched and worn. I got back home and proceeded to remove the 20 years worth of cleaners and stuff from under the sink. My hope was that the plumbing would line up perfect where my existing sink drain was and that the sink would fit perfect in the opening. Once I got the old out and dry fit the new sink there was a sigh of relief. The contractor cut the opening slightly larger than they should have for the prior sink so the new sink just barely fit and covered. It's close but it is covered. I had to use the black spacers that come with the sink install kit in order to tighten it down to the counter top. After dry fitting several times and making sure I had everything in order I ran one bead of clear silicone around the perimeter of the sink and set it in the opening. I adjusted it from side to side and front to back to make sure it was exactly where it needed to be then I started tightening down the mounting clamps. I like the hardware the sink comes with - the mounting clamps fasten to the sink with phillips head screws before you install then all you have to do is spin the clamp 45 degrees and tighten the phillips screws to snug it to the counter top. I tightened the screws like you would a wheel on a car - then I went around and snugged them down. I installed the disposal next and the tail piece lined up perfect with the p-trap as I had hoped it would. I measured and cut the tail piece and buttoned up the plumbing. Then I installed the faucet which is super easy. Drop it in the hole, tighten the nut hand tight then there are two locking screws with phillips head. After that all you have to do is hook up your water supply lines and turn the water back on. The description says you need a 36" wide cabinet but you can see in the images my cabinet is 34.5" inside and it fits perfect. There was plenty of room to mount the clips - you will need a long #2 phillips screwdriver. It also comes with the hardware for an under mount if that fits your application. It comes with a drain as well if you do not have a disposal. The sink comes with knock outs for a soap dispenser or air gap. I ordered the Kraus faucet with air gap because it was the only spot free stainless option. I did not use the air gap. I ran a loop up higher than where the line feeds into the disposal (found that handy info on YouTube) and zip tied it to one of the mounting clamps to hold it. All in all she loves it. The Kraus faucet with this Kraus sink is a perfect match. The sink is solid and seems to be very well made. The faucet feels high quality / heavy. The basin of the sink is huge compared to what we had and she loves the single drain on the right - you have a lot more surface area to use in the sink. She can now fit an entire pot, skillet or cookie sheet in the sink without it hanging out the top. This was a nice, inexpensive upgrade. When I ordered both items the faucet was $209 and the sink was $206. Both items arrived days earlier than Amazon promised so that was a bonus. We love the sink and not a single thing went wrong during the install. Everything went exactly the way I wanted. Not the way I expected which would have been just short of a disaster like most projects around here. The Kraus faucet I installed is the KPF-1610SFS - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0956JW96Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1 If you are looking for something that won't break the bank but looks like it did - this is a great combo. Everyone who has seen it says "I don't even want to know what that cost". I was looking at stainless sinks before I found this one and I'm so glad we went this route over stainless. It is top notch. Five stars for sure.

Beautiful sink
Switched from a builder grade sink to this beauty. So much room and makes washing dishes easier. Feels sturdy and looks great. It has been a month since I got it, I haven’t had any scratches yet. Draines just fine. i can’t speak about how easy it was to install because I hired professionals to do it.

Best sink ever!!!
I’m OBSESSED with my new Kraus black granite sink. I picked the single, side drain as my favorite option, seseo single bowl, to replace a double-sink that I hated because you couldn’t fit even 1 pot inside to hand wash it. This Kraus single bowl sink can fit 3 pots at once!! My husband installed it himself, it took about 5 hours and 2 trips to Home Depot. The biggest issue was drilling out the optional hole on the side corner for the built-in soap dispenser. This required a special diamond-head circle drill which cost $60 and $20 for the adaptor. Annoying but worth it to have the soap dispenser. It is heavy and sturdy. We tested the drilled-out piece by scratching and taking sharp knives to it, it barely made a scratch so it’s very durable. It comes with adjusters and clamps to hold it in place (we used the top-mount option). Overall the best sink I’ve ever owned in a house. It’s beautiful and functional!! My only issue is the Kraus sticker logo is not centered , so it looks stupid misaligned from the faucet. I’ll call Kraus and have them send me a new logo so I can rip the crooked one off.

Beautiful Farmhouse Style Sink That Has Held Up Great
I love this Kraus KGD-54 Forteza granite kitchen sink. We replaced the original sink that came with our floating lake house (“Floasis”) with this one, and it was a huge upgrade both in appearance and functionality. One of the main reasons I chose it was the farmhouse-style look, which gives the kitchen a much nicer and more updated feel. The gray color is true to the listing photos and looks great in our kitchen. I purchased this sink back in October 2021, and it has held up extremely well over the past 4½ years. It has proven to be very scratch resistant, and even with regular use it still looks great. It also hasn’t rusted at all, which really shows the quality of the material. The drainage is good, and I also appreciated that the measurements listed were accurate, including the depth, which was important because it had to fit perfectly in the space we had available. Overall, this sink has been amazing quality and very durable. If you’re looking for a farmhouse-style sink that holds up well over time, this has been a great choice for us.

Awesome sink!
Do yourself a solid and buy this sink! During Covid the wife and I did a ton of stuff to the house. Aside from the new floors, this sink is my favorite thing that we have put in. It’s been in now about 8 months. It cleans easy, drains very well, and it doesn’t show any spots. It’s very durable. We were gentle on it at first, but now we beat the hell out of it and it holds up awesome. Install took about an hour or two and came with everything needed aside from a couple of plumbing pieces to adapt to make it work. We paired it with a Moen fixture and I couldn’t be happier with that as well. When you turn on the spray function it does all the work for you. But I’m not reviewing that. Couldn’t be happier. I actually like doing dishes now. Thanks Kraus. Great product In a time when it’s hard to find things like that. Surprise your wife with this, she’ll love you for it. 🥰

I'm in love
My 9 year old daughter and I installed the sink in 2 hours (and 5 trips to my local hardware store for plumbing, nothing against the sink.) I suggest when installing to go ahead and connect the faucet AND the little clips BEFORE dropping it in. It makes it much easier than trying to tighten everything from underneath. This sink is BEAUTIFUL. It doesn't show water spots. It's DEEP and so spacious. I love the side drain. There's so much room for activities on the left. I will never have another sink style! I even attached the old garbage disposal and drain flange to the new sink without issue. I would have loved an option for a matching drain assembly for the sink, but i'm not complaining at all. Sink is black, my old drain is stainless steel - it's still beautiful. I got a tall faucet that BLASTS water. The sink being so deep doesn't let anything splash out. Incredibly easy to wipe down. I can't say enough great things about the sink!!! Worth every penny.

An excellent kitchen sink, BUT BE AWARE!
This sink WOULD HAVE BEEN an easy 5-Star. 1- It has a nice, smooth appearance and the 3D emblem adds a good touch. 2- The extra holes are predrilled enough, so a hole saw can just sit in the grooves and start cutting. 3- The installation instructions mentions using a 32mm (1-1/4”) diamond-blade hole saw to cut the new holes and that’s a good tip. I was able to order one from Amazon for less than $10 Free Shipping and had it on hand when the time came to use it. 4- It includes enough mounting hardware for both under-mount and drop-in. Caution! There are 12 tinny predrilled holes on the 6 small platforms around the sink for mounting the hardware which keeps the sink from shifting its position overtime. The installation manual tells you to install the hardware by using the small screws it comes with and turning the screw till their tight (or something like that). Well! You can’t get the screws in more than a few turns before the screw heads break off. Now you have a broken screw stuck in the hole. Being a Master Mechanic; I have tools to work it out. So here is what you need to do: If you haven’t started with the hardware yet, go to (B) otherwise start with (A). (A) If you break a screw, just shift the hardware slightly to the left or the right, using a hole-punch mark two new spots to drill in to. (B) Star drilling with a 1/64” or the smallest drill bit you have at the depth of the screw’s length and gradually work up to a 1/16” drill bit. Tip: Mark the drill bit with paint or masking tape at depth point where you want stop drilling so you don’t end up drilling through the sink. Important! When you’re finished with the drilling, using a toothpick lubricate the screw hole with a tinny amount of machine oil or: cutting oil, cooking oil, graphite (pencil lead shaving) but NOT grease, lotion, or Vaseline that can pack the threads and break screw. Do this to all the remaining screw holes. Don’t get oil around the sink rim where you need to apply Silicone. Use a hand screw driver and not a powered one. 5- It includes a hot-pad and a hot-mitt. (useful if you purchased an oven or a set of cookware), I would rather have a better quality drain tailpiece with a turning collar, instead of the cheap plastic one it came with. I’ll have to buy something better.

Great sink! Love everything about it except the month wait
I absolutely love this sink. The only downfall of it has nothing to do with the sink itself and everything to do with Amazon. The sink itself is large, beautiful and I love the side drain. The construction and materials used were quality and going from the typical double bowl stainless sink to this is amazing. It’s easy to clean, looks great and is huge. The drain itself is of good quality, and the strainer supplied works as a strainer and plug so no need for multiple bits hanging out. Compared to the drain with our old sink this all just works and makes sense. As for my issue with Amazon I ordered the sink and didn’t receive it for a month which delayed my kitchen Reno. I had to stay ontop of Amazon but constantly reaching out to them and getting the same response - it’s shipping - when it was in fact never shipping. If I were to suggest anything I would order it from your local store like Home Depot who had it for a comparable price. Unfortunately they would not let me cancel my order.

Do it! Best purchase in our kitchen!
This sink is amazing, I spent a couple months researching different ones and trying to find the best price. I love the side mount drain. We had to adjust our pipes for the side mount and cause we were going from a double to a single it required different parts but the guys at the hardware store helped and it was super easy. We bought a new faucet to match. This sink was so easy to install. We had to cut one part but it was fine. This sink is the best!! Hold way more dishes and larger pans. East to clean, and no stains/marks. Only problem I found with this sink was that I couldn’t use my old sponge handle that suctioned to the side. The material doesn’t work with the suction sponges/holders. I just bought a rack that sits across and holds everything I need.

Very Heavy quality sink
I love the style the convenience of washing large items that was a hugh pain to maneuver in a regular sink. Love the colour love love love the size. Enjoy the option to use a wash basin or not, with, the water drain is off to one end and this is very useful if any liquid needs to be dumped.
