Great upgrade for Subaru Forester XT 2014 OEM speakers
I ordered these speakers to replace my Forester XT 2014 in-dash OEM mid-range speakers. After long search did choose Infinity reference mainly because of 3 Ohm (the OEM are 2 Ohm) and better suited mounting dimensions. They are no plug-and -play speakers for a Forester. Had to solder the harness from OEM speakers, enlarge a bit the speaker plastic dash hole and trim the speaker grill (not a big deal really). After all they did fit nicely into the dash.Would say they brought a great improvement to the sound quality as compared to OEM Harman Kardon speakers. Better distinct low, mid and high frequencies makes the sound deep, clear a nice to listen at various volumes. Yes, the level is a bit lower as compared to the OEM 2 Ohm speakers - still that is not a problem at all.The sound quality and the sound imaging has improved much and I enjoy listening now even at lower levels. Another important finding - the OEM multimedia EQ become now much more meaningful. Only now I could realize how muddy has been the sound of OEM dash speakers (although supplied by Harman Kardon). Following this success, I do plan to replace the OEM door speakers as well. And a last word to Subaru: Hey, is it really such a challenge to put some decent speakers into otherwise a nice car?

Unbelievable, a perfect upgrade for a Saab's dashboard.
These have tweeters that are among the bets I've heard, and the sound that comes out of them is fantastic. I used these to replace my factory speakers on the left and right side of the dashboard which had worn out, and there was a tremendous improvement - my car's factory sound system is among the best out there. The factory system has a Harman/Kardon amplifier that is tuned to the car, and these speakers are actually 2.52 ohms which is a perfect match the 2.5ohm impedance of the factory speakers. The car's system does not send any bass or low signal to these speakers so I installed them directly. I had purchased these and the well rated and comparably priced JBL GTO329's to do a side by side comparison, this blew the JBL away in every way. This has better sound in every way, this has bigger magnets, it weighs more, and has a much lower resonance frequency of 115.2 hz vs the JBL's 151.88 so it produces lower sounds more clearly. The car's sound system is one of the best out there in any cars under $100,000, and has amazed everyone who's heard it. Even critics of the car like edmunds, had nothing but praise for the original sound system. An upgrade for that system is a feat in itself at this price-point. The car's stock grills fit over these without modification of any type, the opening was tight because this was a dashboard install.

Infinity Quality
Used as rear speakers in my Z. Since I was going to have the panels off anyway to add sound insulation I decided to put these in.Infinity has always been a good brand for me and I was not disappointed in their quality. The sound was good for their size and added another dimension in the Z. I now have the option to use the fader for background music or provide more depth when all speakers are playing. If you're looking for a 3 1/2" speaker can't go wrong with these.

These are fantastic sounding dash speakers!
These sound fantastic - I bought them based on multiple recommendations on the Jeep Renegade forum. I used these to replace my dash Jeep Renegade speakers, and they make a world of difference! They fit perfectly, with plenty of tweeter clearance to pop the dash grilles back on. The Renegade factory dash speakers are abysmal. After I installed these it made it apparent that the factory door speakers are not that great either, so I upgraded those with Kicker 43DSC69304 D-Series 6x9". The Infinitys and Kickers sound great together. NOTE: The Jeep Renegade dash speaker upgrade needs Metra 71-039C Speaker Wiring Adapters, which I had to buy from Crutchfield, the only place that sells them at the time I wrote this. The pictures show one of the Infinity speakers installed, and the factory speakers that I removed.
