How do you make it dim? Is there a switch, or where is the sensor? Thx

Hi ,USB lamp with touch switch, just touch the sensor at the end of the stick to turn on/on the lamp, long press the on/off sensor to adjust the brightness level,thanks.

Does this have a waterproof rating?

I don't think so. Also, this dimmable touch switch did not last me long, so I would not recommend buying it. It was NOT a well made product. I wound up purchasing a different light for my laptop that works like a charm.

do you have a warm white option?

I second that request. A warm white light version is needed.

Is this product water-resistant (as in rain)?

I went back and red the description, no mention of water. Here is my personal opinion, To cary the light alone in the rain, disconnected from your PC might not hurt it. The actual ight portion seems to be very well sealed, the neck of the light is medal and fexable, thus having ridges. If this portion got more than just a drop or two, I would wipe dry and wait overnight before pluging into my PC. I value my PCs and would never do anything to harm them. Using the light attached to PC and burning in the rain or any moisture situation would be a chance I woud never take. Even if the light and neck are water tight, the usb plug (attached to PC) leaves plenty of room for water to enter your PC. I am sure you know what the results of that wous be - NOT GOODIts a great light but stay out of the rain.EnjoyWinnie
