Has there been any testing for metals/pesticides?** A: No it is not organic and there is no information on the packaging related to testing. **Q: it is naturally grown and harvest or sprayed with pesticides?** A: It tasted like pure chemicals. I brewed one batch and threw the rest of it out. It tasted like it was saturated in chemicals **Q: Does this tea have caffeine?** A: Yes, Ceylon tea has caffeine. In general Ceylon tea has 14-61g per serving. You would need to contact Zarrin to find out exactly how much is in their brand. **Q: what is the brew temperature?** A: How we brew tea - 1.) 2 table spoons of Ceylon tea in double boiler tea pot 2.) Add 3 cups water 3.) Bring to a boil 4.) Shut off and let brew for 5 minutes 5.) Have your second source of clean hot (simmer hot) water, Not boiling! a temperature you feel is good/tolerable to sip tea. 6.) Pour your brewed tea through a screen into your tea cup or mug.( for an 8 ounce cup pour about 2 ounces) the more brewed tea you pour the darker and stronger the tea.7.) It makes great iced tea in the summer and hot tea in the winter. One of the things we like the most is that it doesn’t turn cloudy in the refrigerator. Also, it doesn’t taste tannic. It has a fresh, clear taste. Loose-leaf tea gives a much better cup of tea. I have a teapot (also bought here on Amazon) that filters the leaves to brew it.
