I’m seriously impressed with Maybelline Lumi Matte! It gives that beautiful soft-matte finish without making my skin look flat or cakey. My skin still looks like skin—just smoother, more even, and naturally radiant. The video is after getting rained on and being in the heat for hours. It’s lightweight, blends like a dream, and doesn’t cling to dry patches (which is a miracle for my combo skin). I wore it all day without it breaking up or settling into fine lines. Plus, it layers well with blush and bronzer without pilling.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have mature skin. That is, I never took care of it, tanned way too much, etc. In the last couple of years, I've noticed my pores are appearing larger. I have been trying multiple foundations that are advertised as for "mature skin" or "color-matching", only to be disappointed. I saw this Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation reviewed on quite a few websites and I figured, what do I have to lose? Other foundations that I have tried just did not look right because of color or, worse yet, settling into wrinkles. I am so happy that I gave this foundation a try. I have slightly olive-toned skin and did not want a "pinkish" tone so I chose the #129 - Neutral Cool color. It was a perfect match!!! It seemed to go on light but then develops to a more natural (and not pink) tint. As I said, I have "mature skin" and have developed deep smile lines and moderate crows feet. This foundation, paired with Maybelline Super Stay Liquid Concealer (SS Concealer #30) and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer has made a huge difference with those smile lines and the crows feet are now barely visible. I put a dab or two onto a makeup disk and then apply the foundation with a brush and it goes on smoothly. The liquid is not too thick & not too thin. But, the thing that I am most happy with is that it is a perfect match for my skin color. As I said, the color/tint appears light when you first apply it so, don't keep applying more. It'll change. You can build on it, though. I have not needed to. It seems to last about 10-12 hours without needing any correction. With it's matte finish, it does not look like I have foundation plastered over my entire face. It evens out my ruddy skin to a perfect finish and tone. The only thing that I do not like is the bottle's cap. It feels pretty fragile to me. I truly wish I that I had found this earlier. I am so happy with the color match and the final matte appearance.

This is a super lightweight, buildable medium coverage foundation that's long-wearing with no touchups all day. I didn't go the full 30 hours (bc who actually can?) but was impressed that there is no coverage breakdown mid-day. I believe it's because it's a matte finish and not really luminous, so I think the name is a bit deceiving since I was hoping for a more glowy finish. I'm going to try with a luminizing primer to see if that helps. Color match is phenomenal! I took a gamble and ordered this online having never tried it before (I don't believe it's available in the USA) and the shade completely melts into my skin perfectly. I'm truly shocked at how exact the match is. For reference, I use Armani Luminous Silk in 4.5, Nars Light Reflecting in M1.2 Patagonia and Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter in Shade 4. Overall, I'm surprised and impressed at how good this formula is and prefer it much more than the Tir Tir silver glow cushion compact. I have very dry, mature asian skin (late 40s) that typically doesn't do well with matte formulas.

This is the best foundation I have ever tried. It is lightweight but it gives full coverage and it lasts ALL DAY! Application is easy and it blends beautifully. It is also buildable coverage so you can do just a light layer if you want or build it up for more full coverage. I never thought I would find such an amazing foundation for less than $15!

I bought this to replace the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 hr Full Coverage Foundation #201 Classic Beige which I've been using for years. I could no longer get it on Amazon, Walmart, eBay or any other seller due to the manufacturer's poor decision to discontinue it. It was the most popular, reasonably priced long wear indelible foundation on the market and in my opinion, the best. The shade 201 was also the most popular. Unfortunately Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte 30 hr Foundation is higher priced but the shade #129 is a very close match to my Rimmel shade. The consistency is very runny (which I don't like but will get used to), not creamy like the Rimmel. It goes on smooth, covers very well, is buildable, dries fast & feels lighter than Rimmel. It lasts as long as Rimmel.

I’m very impressed with this foundation. I was shopping for a replacement for my Chanel foundation due to cost. This is a wonderful value and last better. It doesn’t dry my skin and the color is great!

Absolute new favorite foundation! It feels incredibly light on the skin, great coverage without sitting in fine lines and feeling cakey! It has the perfect amount of flow without looking greasy! So in love with with this foundation!

the best drug store foundation I’ve ever used. I love that it has a pump. It’s not too matte and patchy but it’s a bit of a hydrated natural glowy look to the skin and I don’t even feel it on my face at the end of the day. Goes perfectly with the Maybelline grippy serum primer

I was really surprised that this is such a great foundation! I’m a mature woman and had oily t zone, it’ says it’s matte but somehow it is still dewy looking which I love!

First time i had a foundation matched this well. light to medium coverage i would say. But I like the consistency and the colr. Pro Tip: Use Ai to help match your skin tone with the right shade

By far the best foundation - beats out the high end products. Will last all day with zero touch ups. It goes on more semi matte - not dewy at all. Highly recommend!

Love, love love. Lasted all day, didn't budge. Covered my melasma easily. I just wish I knew what to order for my now sunkissed skin, so hard to tell.
