Im giving 5/5 because I am super happy with it, but realistically, if you were going for the color in the product photos, it’s not close. However, this is the ginger of my dreams that I thought I’d have to use bleach for and possibly go to a salon. The smell isn’t as strong as other dyes I’ve used in the past, and it didn’t stain my hands too bad either (I am too lazy to wear gloves). Like sometimes the smell lingers kinda strong for a while even after washing, rinsing and styling, but so far this has a pretty subtle smell, and what is there doesn’t smell chemically at all, just nice clean fresh smell. I’d say that it came out pretty even too, no blotches or anything, and my hair doesn’t feel any drier than it would with any other dye either, so no complaints there. I bought the Wella 30 cream developer too, just to be safe and get the absolute intended color. Left it in for 35 minutes. My hair color is naturally a level 5, and this dye lightened it quite a bit.
