Quell Sport Electrodes – One Month Supply

These electrodes are necessary for the Quell pain relief unit, which works wonderfully. After three back surgeries, I was on daily opiates for pain relief when I saw an add for Quell. Since they have a generous no-questions-asked return policy and extensive help policy, it really was very low risk to try it.I've been off the daily opiates, reducing addiction risk and side effects, and only need them on really bad days. I haven't looked back since!These pads are comfortable, long-lasting, and don't irritate my skin. (The exception is high heat and high humidity causing irritation and prickly heat.) The sport gel lasts much longer than the regular band, so that's a big plus, too.

If you use the Quell 2.0 device and live in a humid climate or are very active and perspire, these are a solid choice for you. The sport electrodes are designed with a special gel That keeps them from absorbing too much moisture and thereby keeps them functioning correctly. These electrodes, just like the regular ones, are easy to install, using two snaps in the device band. You should get two weeks wear from the sport electrodes but There are times when I have gotten several days past the two week time period. This may vary with the weather, how active you are and how much you wear the device. If you are not wearing or charging the device, you should use the supplied cover for the electrodes to keep them from being damaged.

Have to put the cost and usage limits into context. I work with electrodes professionally. The design is good, and they last a max of 10 days before they’re disintegrating and should be tossed. They should be honest about this. It bothers me that I’ve used numerous of these electrodes and despite my best efforts and care not one has lasted more than 10 or 11 days.But the cost isn’t alarming to me - the electrodes we use for swallowing therapy are $16-18 for four tiny dots that are supposed to last for one hour. In contrast these are a fraction of the cost.

OK, none of the electrodes for the quell device is necessarily easy to use, or cheap....That said, the Sport Electrodes are far superior to the regular 'blue goo' electrodes. The sport gel does not melt when worn, when carefully peeled off the leg, the gel pads don't easily separate from the strip. The integrity of the gel itself seems to remain intact on the strip... all that said the electrode strip lasts beyond the 2-week estimate (with careful handling) while costing the same as the regular electrode strips.With active use, the electrode stays stuck to your leg (the electrode strip is how the quell stays in place as i see it) and no amount of sweat seems to dislodge it. I found the blue gel on the regular electrode strip melted, it was almost like the gel absorbed my perspiration and got mushy... the sport gel does not.So since these cost the same as the regular electrode strips they are the ones i am using and am pleased with their performance.

I have fibromyalgia and experience pain all day, every day. These electrodes are good and last long, although i did have to re calibrate my machine. As far as holding up longer than two weeks per set, yeah... they didn't deteriorate off, although the bits and pieces that rip cause my skin to be burned or "jolted".In my twenties with chronic pain, it's a tough battle. Medication helps, Quell takes care of the rest... that all day long pain, throughout my muscles that keeps me up at night, giving me my life back.

These Sports Electrodes hold up much better & last longer than the regular version. Since they cost the same, will continue to purchase the Sports version. I always have 2 electrodes that I switch between, so one is "resting" while I wear the second Electrode. After 8-12 hrs of wear, I switch the Electrode and also the leg I have it on to allow my skin to "breathe". If outside in the heat I switch after 4-8 hrs as it is more comfortable and the electrodes don't slide/spread as much.

It works pretty well for my pain but the electrodes don’t last for more than a week each and are expensive. The gel deteriorates and falls apart. I contacted customer service and sent them pictures and they said it looks like it would still work and that they should last longer. They were not helpful at all.
