Nice aluminum box at a reasonable price
With some lid modification, this box seems to be a decent faraday cage protecting against EMP. Walls are about 1.3mm (.05”) thick aluminum. The seams are nicely welded except for the final 3/4” lip that the lid closes around. The designed lid has a soft gasket and is water resistant but does not seal tightly enough to be waterproof. The metal sheets are strong, but bendable by hand. The box I received is not perfectly square, but pretty close and is easily within my tolerances

Cheap
Won't expect it to last long. For the price good for a year. A hail storm or squirrel falling from a tree will dent this thing. If you step on it it's toast. I honestly expected a little better quality but it's just for holding my jumper cables and tow rope on my diesel transfer tank.

Light weight material. Cheap construction. No seal around the lid. No lift cylinders. Not water resistant buy Yitamotor
