Iwata IWA5660 1.3MM LPH400-134LVX Gun

Been using this gun for years! I love it so much I bought another one and this one sprays amazingly! This order even came with iwatas fast flow system cup, adapter, and all needed accessories to go along with cup system. Highly recommend this seller!!

I've been using this as an automotive refinisher at a few auto body shops. I learned on tool truck guns and a shop LPH400LV 1.3 spraying solvent basecoats and R-M clearcoats. That gun was great as a "one-gun" setup, but after moving shops I needed equipment, so I picked this up along with some PPS adaptors. It's great for waterborne, solvent, and even some sealers and reduced surfacers. I've been spraying Axalta products through it and it's been doing really well - no issues at all. Easy to clean, always looks brand new even with constant production work. The LVX cap does a great job compared to the regular LV, I feel it's easier to lay base out evenly using the same technique that took a little extra attention with the LV. It's a great handling tool, and a perfect companion to the W400LV-144 for clear. It's probably not as fast as some SATA jets, but the finishes still look great, and I find the adjustments to be really manageable and quick to dial in for any given material or workpiece, large or small.

Genuine Iwata product for unreal prices. Very pleasantly surprised by this. This gun is unreal. Painted a 62 corvette with this and the paint is like glass. So easy to spray with this gun.

i have used sata-jet spray guns, this iwata is a great piece of kit! Lays paint and clear flat like glass. BUY IT NOW! or don't and live with regret. choice is yours.

Not sure what these are going for now, but when I bought this it was over a hundred dollars under anyone else. The gun is what you want to shoot a good paint job. I recommend their "metallic" nozzle if you are shooting heavy metallics or pearls though. It's a little hairy coming from harbor freight guns to this one, because you can run such a low pressure and stay so close to the panel without making runs. If you do get the new technique down though it's ideal because you can get more coverage and less waste. Also if you're like me and spraying in a home garage not a pristine paint booth the lower pressure disturbs less dust and that can help your paint job really come out good. Overall I think it's ideal for getting great results. I chose this gun because the paint I was shooting was pretty expensive and I just didn't want to risk $2k worth of paint on a $50 gun.

Bought this item Feb 2020.. Here it is June 2020 and this gun is falling apart. We have other Iwata paint guns and have never had a problem. Could be just a defect but I dont recommend buying this gun as this price to only last 4 1/2 months.
