Did the job for staining my fence and saved me much more paint and time opposed to doing it by hand. It would get clogged up after about 3-4 refills but it's quick and easy to take apart the nozzle and I just sprayed it with a hose. So have a hose with a spray gun nearby to clean it out every once in a while if it doesn't seem to be working. Half the price of buying a spray gun at Lowes or whatever which is a huge plus

This paint sprayer exceeded every expectation I had. I used it to stain both sides of a 266 ft. long 6ft. high fence and it did awesome. It was easy to assemble and didn’t take long to figure out how it works. I used Olympic Maximum Semi-Transparent Stain and Sealer and it never clogged. The spray pattern was consistent which made it very easy to apply and I only had to do one coat. It was really easy to clean and came with good instructions. For the price, you can’t beat it and you don’t need anything more. 10/10 would recommend.

Works pretty well for the most part. It is a little more messy than I thought it would be while painting.

The way this spray gun works is the problem, you have to tighten the paint cup very tight to work because it pressurizes the cup then pushes paint into the straw then out of the tip like a siphon. The main problem is that the air / blower gets hot, very hot, and it causes the paint to dry up and clog inside the entire assembly. I’ve tried thinning it down to d*mn near water which makes it pointless to even use for other than spraying stains. I had to take it apart and clean it every 5 to 10 minutes just to get anything to come out, and even then it was slower than cold molasses, and only worked half the time I held the trigger down.. I thinned my paint, strained it and even thinned it again and strained it a 2nd time.. save your money unless you just need to spray something very thin that doesn’t dry out too fast from the heat this thing produces. 🚮

I have been able to get REALLY good results thinning latex and primer about 10%. I haven't tried spraying un-thinned latex, but I think MAYBE it could do it. It took me a bit to get dialed in because it was putting out too much paint and I was getting drips and runs. I have spent hundreds on other HVLP guns what weren't this good. It is basic, but easy to clean and maintain.

Liked this so much I bought a second one for my vacation home. Works Great if you add water to latex paints. I used Sherwin-Williams paint and touched up stucco and doors. Similar to using a spray can with better coverage and durable paint. I used cardboard to trim and didn't have to mask except in tight spots.

Worked ok
