This is a good value for your money if you can’t make it to the ocean. The shells are shells. They are a good quality. They are durable shells. The quantity was good. There was a good variety of colors. We use these shelves for crafts and for playing in a desktop sandbox.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed small shells for project.

Received the plastic container of shells and was immediately disappointed that the starfish were extremely tiny and all broken or chipped. I just threw them away, but there was a nice variety of other shells. Most of the shells are small, but they were perfect for my table decor. I also purchased some sea glass and scattered both on a gauze table runner with a small vase of flowers. These shells might be too small for crafts, but they were mostly a perfect size for my two large dining tables to carry a subtle ocean theme and the guests loved it. Sorry that I didn't take a picture.

They are pretty but there is not even 200 shells in the mix I received.There are four ratings on these shells:Overall 3 starsSheerness 1 star (Non existent, and I don't believe that would be a factor in the shells I was purchasing)Packaging 5 stars (Study plastic jar with lid. Used these for a dozen 16oz vases with sand/fairy lights/color glass for a fisherman's memorial service. I was doubtful of the amount and size of shells. They were perfect! Nice variety, colors, shapes. Used about a dozen in each vase and that was plenty. Even had some left over.
