The product box should be taped by manufacturer. Mine arrived with the product out of the box and the plastic wrapping with the product lid completely detached. Amazon delivered it in a non-padded plastic bag. I think a box or at least a padded bag would have been a better option.

I didn't need this. It's one of those ridiculous purchases one makes at midnight because the fates somehow managed to steer you in the direction of something completely random, and when it shows up a few days later, you wonder who you were when you clicked "buy now." But this time, I picked a winner. It's so much more beautiful in real life, so even if it doesn't match the drapes in my kitchen or my placemats, I could give a damn. It's on my table, and I smile at it every time I look at it. I love watching people's eyes light up when I demonstrate it. Heck I might buy two or three more...
