Nice board
Never owned an ASUS mobo but have assembled many custom computers so this was a 'blind' experience. Paired with a 9800X3D and 2x16 Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000. System posted immediately. Configured EXPO and it did the memory training. and never asked again which is a common problem of the overall platform. OEM fan curves are well designed for AIO cooling-Your setup may vary but this is the first system I haven't had to mess with those for an hour which was nice. My previous OS required an upgrade from windows 10 to 11 to install the connectivity drivers. System still worked prior to upgrade if you absolutely will not upgrade, but you will need to for the full experience. 2.5g NIC works good, WLAN card works good and stable. The asus driver hub is not obnoxious like most tools and was really nice to just install that instead of downloading everything manually and then having to uninstall the annoying tool immediately. After the system was configured and stable the update to the latest BIOS went great. You always hold your breath at that point but it's a good idea do that even if the system is working okay on a new build. Get everything up to the latest versions, and then make sure your operating system is clean and error free after all the changes. Most people skip the last step, leading to problems after all the driver changes. Some of the competitors have easer M2 mounting systems but for a 0 drama experience I am happy to work with the screws knowing I will not be chasing board gremlins. The box was also delivered completely destroyed by the shipper and the board still worked great, it is truly TUF.

Going TUF
Great and easy motherboard to build with. My second build with a TUF motherboard and fourth build so far. Paired it with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. PROS: - Board feels really solid. - I appreciate the subtlety of the small RGB as I was just going for a blackout build, but you can easily turn it off. - Setup was quick, easy to find amd EXPO settings for the ram and auto adjust my fans in the BIOS. - Future upgradability was one of the focuses for using this board as well, WiFi 7 - PCIe 5.0, etc. - BIOS was already updated for my cpu. - Sound is decent enough, but you will always get better sound for a dedicated DAC. CONS: - Not worth cutting a star, but the manual was VERY basic.. it doesn't explain details very well like how the securing latch works on the m.2 drive or that you need to use one of the included rubber risers if your drive isn't double sided. A few other things I had to look up, but I was able to find my answers on youtube. - Amory Crate needs some work, it isn't the greatest, but its fine. Overall, very solid board and I'm glad I went with it.

Using with a 9900X, good motherboard, no issues so far
I'm not a gamer. I use my personal computer for various hobbies, such as routing circuit boards, rendering video, the occasional AI project, running Linux VMs, etc. I had no trouble at all with this motherboard. I purchased 64GB of DDR5 RAM at the same time, as well as a new 9900X CPU, a Noctua cooler, and a Samsung 990 SSD. All of this worked well and booted properly on the first time. I burned in the system using Ubuntu 24.04 live distribution on a USB stick, ran some performance tests, and used Ubuntu to copy over my existing Windows 10 image onto the new Samsung SSD. Unlike the other reviewer, I had no problem using the Wifi under Ubuntu. I don't use Wifi on Windows, so I wouldn't know whether it works there or not. As a productivity user, I don't really care about some of the "Gamer" features of this motherboards, nor do I care about aesthetics like glowing LED lights. I picked the Tuf series over the ASUS B840 because it seemed like a beefier build overall. The only drawback is the relatively large heatsink at the rear of the motherboard -- it precludes me from the possibility of installing a second fan on my Noctua cooler. I'm skeptical whether such a large heatsink generates any real benefit, other whether it is done for appearance sake. Nevertheless, I don't really need that second fan anyway. Installing the SSDs was a little bit unorthodox with a plastic springy clip that ASUS uses rather than a screw, but it worked fine. There's a hefty heat sink that fits over the SSDs and will further hold them snugly in place. One complication I had during boot was that I had the enable Compatibility Support Mode (CSM) to get it to boot from the Samsung 990 SSD. Not sure if that's typical or if it was because of the idiosyncrasy of the existing SSD image that I brought over from my old computer (it was a new Samsung 990 SSD, but an existing image that I wrote to it). All things considered, a good motherboard that feels like it's more than tuf enough for my needs.

Great product
What a difference. I had a b650m before I purchased this b850e. I can see the benefits of the faster WiFi and bus speeds. I’m excited to test the limits of this motherboard.

I want to love this, but...
Long story short, it fulfills its stated actions. Good form. A bit of a slower boot performance, but capable. Where I have issue is that this particular one (and NO I have not gone through the warranty/return process) has showed poor BT connectivity for mobile devices (both iOS and Android), as well as well as controllers. What is more worrying is from time to time the device will power off when under load for gaming. Not very often, but enough that it is a known "thing" in my mind.

Multiple problems and an out of box failure returned failed after RMA
DO NOT BUY THIS MOTHERBOARD!!! Read why!!! (not sure about other ASUS products) I've built a great many PCs for my employment in the past, I'm no stranger to a motherboard. Last year I purchased a bunch of parts to build a new gaming PC. After assembling it, I couldn't get anything out of it (no BIOS screen, etc). The DRAM light was on, so I made sure I had memory listed on the compatibility on the site (ouch, the prices jumped at that time)... and using the listed compatible memory, the DRAM light was still on and it wouldn't boot to even the BIOS. I ran through BIOS resets and upgrades (per online support documents), and no luck. I decided to do an RMA to Asus, and that process was a little repetitive and painful, but not too bad. It took quite a few weeks to get the product back fromo Asus, which they stated that processor pins were bent, they replaced the processor housing and bench tested it and it worked. They send it back. I reinstall... DRAM light is still on and no booting (the pins may have been bent on a return by me by accident, but no way this was bench tested and booted). Fast forward, I get a different branch motherboard, everything boots right up. Not only that, but I got this part because my brother also built TWO machines with most of the same parts. He had one with "overpowered USB" messages, another with the NIC on the motherboard dying, the unit just freezing up during gaming and needing a reboot to fix it... the OS crashing on one of them... and he replaced the motherboard as well and has had no trouble since. He built his machine probably 3-6 months before I ordered and built mine (so can it be just a bad batch with such a distance in ordering parts)? I feel these units have serious quality problems. Save yourself a bunch of grief and money. Now I have to go sell my 2nd set of memory sticks as I no longer need them.

Awesome motherboard, works like a champ
Very high quality motherboard, all of my components run at their best, was easy to install and ASUS includes everything you need, BIOS updates are great and frequent (no long waits for updates), great feature-set, don't forget to install the AMD Chipset Drivers.

Excelente producto

Hassle-free and zero issues so far!
Asus wasn't my first choice. It should have been. I had originally picked up a well-reviewed Gigabyte B650 motherboard along with a Ryzen 9900X. Should be a good pairing, right? Nope. The Gigabyte gave me nothing but headaches and would only consistently POST if I used the power switch on the PSU (with the power switch on the case the CPU and DRAM LEDs would keep blinking alternately with no POST 95% of the time and the BIOS was riddled with Spanish & Italian text -- even when English was selected). After getting fed up with the Gigabyte I ordered the Asus Tuf Gaming B850 Plus WiFi while it was on a sale. I'm happy to report that the Asus has been perfect so far. It POSTs immediately when pressing the power switch on the case and the BIOS is all English as expected when English is selected. Build quality? Absolutely great, feels solid with its 8-layer PCB (negative comments about Asus on JaysTwoCents YT channel had me avoiding Asus during my initial search). BIOS? Already feels polished for such a recently released motherboard. WiFi? Been working great for me. Features? It has EVERYTHING I need and it's even running 100% stable so far with the Kingston Fury Beast 32GB RGB RAM kit I had originally purchased for the Gigabyte (KF560C30BBEAK2-32). I was worried it wouldn't be stable since it's not (yet) on Asus' QVL, but it's been rock solid so far at full EXPO I 6000 speeds. Before I end, I wanted to mention that I don't care much for Asus' Aura RGB software. Fortunately, however, the free version of SignalRGB already seems to be running well on this Asus. Looking forward to OpenRGB in the future to see what that can do Need a great new B850 motherboard without breaking the bank? The Gigabyte TUF Gaming B850 Plus WiFi is a GREAT value and you can't go wrong. Recommended!
